Ch70.1 - Finale (Original)

LangFeng City, LinXian Terrace.

“So…… Do you really have a plan to diminish the exhaustion of the spiritual deposits?” Sitting next to the table, Pei QianYue asked.

That day, after Feng Ci brought Pei QianYue back to LangFeng City, he immediately turned back to his original form. Feng Ci didn’t have time to explain anything. After sleeping for an entire seven days, Pei QianYue finally recovered completely and was able to shift forms again.

However Feng Ci was worried about his health so he forcibly pressed Pei QianYue down and made him obediently allow Xiao Que to check his pulse.

“Of course not.” Sitting by the side and cracking sunflower seeds, Feng Ci shrugged: “Even the Heavenly Principles didn’t manage to formulate the most optimum plan, how could I have any methods.”

“But—” Pei QianYue paused and said: “But if you can’t stop it successfully, then in 1000 years……”

“That’s an issue for 1000 years later.” Feng Ci interrupted him, not concerned at all: “When the boat reaches the pier-head, it will naturally go straight, you know.”

Pei QianYue: “……”

“Stop worrying already.” Feng Ci said: “The reason why the consumption was so severe previously is because the cultivation world didn’t recognize the issue’s existence. Now that they’re aware, there’s bound to be a way to fix it. Didn’t you say you wanted the Immortal Alliance to take full control of the cultivation world. Wouldn’t the distribution of spirit deposits be completely under your jurisdiction in the future?”

“You……” Pei QianYue took a deep breath: “You are basically speculating here.”

Hearing this, Feng Ci became displeased and tossed away the sunflower seeds in his hand: “Didn’t I do all this just to save you? Who’s the suicidal snake that went running off all on his own to make a bargain with the Heavenly Principles? If I didn’t arrive in time, would you still be alive? Such an urgent situation, it’s already pretty good that I came up with a plan to deceiv… cough, to persuade the Heavenly Principles.”

Pei QianYue, expressionlessly: “You let slip the truth.”

Sure enough, it was only a deception.

Feng Ci coughed softly and shifted his gaze away, not talking anymore.

Pei QianYue sighed softly and said: “To think the Heavenly Principles would actually believe you.”

“He has no choice but to believe me.” Feng Ci poured himself a cup of tea and said leisurely: “Who let him be completely without a plan either. To use massacre to put a curb to the cultivation world’s development, what a horrendous idea.”

Since the gates of cultivation have already opened, even if the incident really does manage to dim the passion and enthusiasm that the mortal realm felt towards cultivation this time, after 10 years, 100 years, one day the craze for cultivation will definitely rise once again.

Feng Ci shook his head: “Blocking is not the same as removing……”

“If he understood this logic earlier, how could things have become such a mess?” Pei QianYue smiled mockingly: “In my opinion, he just wanted to toss the problem to you.”

If Feng Ci didn’t take the initiative to accept this responsibility, the Heavenly Principles would need to continue searching for a suitable envoy in the world to complete his mission of slaughtering the cultivation world. Since this affair has already been exposed once already, it must be filled with difficulties to try to continue it.

Yet the Heavenly Principles was in a situation where he couldn’t stop halfway.

To the Heavenly Principles, the transaction that Feng Ci suggested was also beneficial and harmless.

“Who said that’s not the case?” Feng Ci sighed: “If it wasn’t for……”

As soon as he said these words, he suddenly stopped talking and subconsciously gave Pei QianYue a glance.

Pei QianYue tilted his head: “For what?”

Falling silent for a moment, Feng Ci took a sip of tea, almost as if to cover up his slip of tongue. Then he said righteously: “If it wasn’t for this world and its people, who’d be willing to accept this horrendous mess.”

The world and its people.

Pei QianYue pressed his lips together and stopped talking.

The atmosphere within the Great Hall suddenly became somewhat complicated. Xiao Que sat by the table with his head lowered, not daring to speak. These two were discussing such important and confidential matters, yet they didn’t take any actions to avoid him. Xiao Que felt terrified with trepidation just listening to it.

Pei QianYue urged with a cold tone: “Still not done?”

Xiao Que was stunned briefly before realizing that these words were said towards himself. He hastily let go of Pei QianYue’s pulse: “D-done.”

“The City Master’s body is fine, no need to worry. Not to mention……he seemed to have received a blessing in disguise from the incident. There is no longer any traces of the inner demon(魔)’s existence inside the City Master’s body.” Xiao Que said.

“Ah?” Stunned, Feng Ci reached out to check Pei QianYue’s pulse.

Sure enough, he couldn’t sense any demonic(魔) essence.

He withdrew his hand, not knowing whether to laugh or cry: “The Heavenly Principles really detests Mo(魔) very much huh……”

Not even tolerating Pei QianYue’s budding inner demon(魔), he had absorbed it from Pei QianYue simultaneously.

Xiao Que continued to say: “However the City Master lost over a thousand years of cultivation from that incident, which cannot be supplemented with magic pills or elixirs. He can only cultivate diligently and hope for an early recovery.”

Over a thousand years of cultivation ruined in an instant. Even as an outsider, Xiao Que couldn’t help but feel regrettable.

Pei QianYue didn’t seem to have any expression of regret on his face. He leaned against the soft pillow, his head full of white hair hanging down onto the seat. He said quietly: “Only relying on self-cultivation to make a recovery, isn’t that a bit slow?”

Xiao Que: “Ah?”

“This Venerable One is the Immortal Alliance Leader. A tall tree attracts the wind. Who knows how many people in the cultivation world are waiting to replace me. Now that I’ve lost so much cultivation, if I encounter a rebellious character like Xuan YangZi plotting a conspiracy against me, it’d probably be very hard to ward them off.”

Xiao Que fell silent.

He said to himself: You had 3000 years of cultivation. After losing 1000 years, you still have 2000 years left. The people of the cultivation world are only youngsters who have cultivated for a few hundred years. Who can win in a fight against you?

Not to mention, Saint Sovereign QianQiu has returned now. With the Saint Sovereign backing you up, who even dares to disrespect you?

But he didn’t say anything.

After serving the City Master for such a long time, he couldn’t possibly be so lacking in sensibility and perception.

As a result, Xiao Que only sighed extremely correspondingly and feigned a worried expression: “That is indeed the case.”

Pei QianYue mumbled to himself: “If only there were some kind of method… to quickly increase a person’s cultivation level……”

Without completing his words, he fell silent enigmatically. Xiao Que blinked in confusion and looked at Pei QianYue. Then he looked at Feng Ci, who was sitting to the side. As if struck by a moment of brilliance, he understood Pei QianYue’s intention.

With an ‘ah’, Xiao Que said: “This disciple remembered something. There are indeed books that record a method to increase a person’s cultivation rapidly. It requires two people to complete, where the stronger person supplements the weak, called dual cultivation.”

Bang.

Feng Ci placed the teacup in his hand onto the table.

Xiao Que was so scared he jumped up.

The current Feng Ci no longer had the appearance of that youth. His original appearance was cold and composed. Just sitting there without saying a word gave him an imposing aura that no one dared to defy.

From a certain degree, he was even more terrifying than the City Master himself.

Feeling like he had reacted a bit too drastically, Xiao Que feigned composure and said firmly: “However, dual cultivation is a special cultivation method from the HeHuan Sect. This disciple is not a skilled learner and knows very little about it. Further research in the library is still required.”

Pei QianYue didn’t reply. Feng Ci also didn’t speak and only played with the rim of the teacup leisurely.

The Great Hall sank into a deathly kind of stillness and silence.

Xiao Que almost broke into cold sweats.

After a long time, Pei QianYue finally opened his mouth mercifully: “Go ahead.”

These words were no different than a deliberate provocation. If this were ordinary times, Pei QianYue would have definitely dragged Feng Ci over and used his physical prowess to prove whether he can do it or not.

But right now, he couldn’t.

His master was still angry.

Not answering, Pei QianYue reached a hand onto the table to grasp Feng Ci’s hand, but the latter evaded him.

“Talk normally, why are you getting handsy and fresh.” Feng Ci said coldly.

Pei QianYue asked: “Master is still feeling angry?”

“No.” Feng Ci suddenly got up. His tone remained very gentle: “I just remembered that three months ago, I seemed to have said that if you mess around behind my back, don’t even think about touching me in the future.”

He leaned in slightly and said with a smile: “I’m only keeping my promise.”

Feng Ci stood in front of Pei QianYue’s seat. Leaning forward like this, he instantly closed the distance between himself and Pei QianYue. However, when the latter subconsciously reached out towards him, Pei QianYue didn’t manage to grab anything.

Pei QianYue’s hand froze in midair for a moment before withdrawing slowly. Quite uncharacteristic from the norm, he didn’t continue to pester.

He sat upright in the chair, lowered his head slightly, and asked quietly: “Then how long will it take for Master to forgive me?”

A few strands of his brittle white hair fell downwards with his movement. His tone was extremely soft and terribly aggrieved.

Feng Ci: “……”

This person was doing this on purpose right???

Feng Ci almost felt his heart soften and hastily shifted his gaze: “De…depends on your behavior.”

Pei QianYue continued to hang his head, who knew if he was truly feeling down.

Feng Ci couldn’t bear seeing him like this however, and hastily changed the topic: “Anyways, what do you plan to do next?”

“What does Master mean?”

“The Immortal Alliance.” Feng Ci said: “Didn’t you promise in front of the Heavenly Principles that you will have the Immortal Alliance take control of the cultivation world and supervise the use of spirit deposits?”

Hearing these words, however, Pei QianYue fell silent.

Feng Ci: “What’s the matter?”

The tips of Pei QianYue’s fingers moved. Then he said with hesitation: “If I say it, can Master not get angry?”

Feng Ci: “……”

Feng Ci gritted his teeth: “Talk.”

Pei QianYue got up.

Those portraits of Saint Sovereign QianQiu still hung behind him. Pei QianYue walked next to the image at the center and casted a spell. The image lifted slowly, revealing a secret compartment inside.

Inside the secret compartment were a few documents.

“I have written down all the schematics of the Immortal Alliance’s reformation here.” Pei QianYue said: “I originally thought, if I…… am not able to return, Master will definitely return to this place and discover these things. Then……”

Feng Ci would help him complete everything for him.

“……You asshole.” Throat somewhat dry and hoarse, Feng Ci said with gritted teeth: “Like hell I’d help you…… You’re so disobedient, why should I help you.”

“I know.” Pei QianYue took out those documents and said quietly: “After Master learns the truth, he will definitely be very angry, but I had no other way at that time……”

The center of Feng Ci’s brows twitched.

He suddenly grabbed Pei QianYue’s shoulders and dragged him back into the seat.

The documents in Pei QianYue’s hands scattered all over the floor, but Feng Ci didn’t care at all. He leaned down and pressed Pei QianYue firmly into the seat with one hand: “No other way… this is the reason why you chose to die?”

“Pei QianYue, I will say it one last time.” He looked into Pei QianYue’s still somewhat pale-white face and said coldly: “If you misbehave again and mess around behind my back, I really will place a blood pact on you. If you’re not afraid, you’re welcome to give it a try.”

Feng Ci’s current appearance really did hold quite a sense of intimidation. His expression was ice cold and his eyes displayed an obvious fury.

Pei QianYue, however, suddenly started chuckling softly.

His hand moved over to cover Feng Ci’s hand.

“I’m very happy, Master.” Pei QianYue’s other hand rose and gently brushed across Feng Ci’s cheek: “For you to say this means you’re willing to stay. I’m really—”

“What nonsense are you saying.” Feng Ci couldn’t take this display of emotion from him. He turned his head, suddenly exerted force, and pulled his hand out of Pei QianYue’s palm.

Feng Ci got up and turned his back on Pei QianYue: “I already said that I didn’t stay for you. The 1000 years that I promised the Heavenly Principles is also not for your sake. This Venerable One is doing it for this world and the lives within it. Don’t talk as if…… as if I like you so much or something.”

Pei QianYue couldn’t help but laugh again: “So Master doesn’t like me?”

“Who’d like you.” Feng Ci could practically feel that formless gaze land on his body, sweeping across his back inch by inch. Ears burning hot, he said vaguely: “I’m just indulging you.”

The smile on Pei QianYue’s face turned even deeper. Even his tone became light and carefree: “Okay, you’re just indulging me.”

Feng Ci’s gaze floated around all over the place. Seeing the documents that Pei QianYue had thrown all over the ground, he reprimanded: “Hurry up and pick up those miserable things. Let’s get it straight first. I definitely won’t be helping, you do it yourself.”

Pei QianYue raised his hand and the documents flew into it.

“Master is correct, these are indeed inauspicious.” Pei QianYue placed the documents back onto the table and said pensively: “Since that’s the case, why not have someone else do it.”

Feng Ci turned his head, flabbergasted.

Pei QianYue cast another spell and summoned a mirror.

Feng Ci was able to recognize the image reflected in the mirror. It was QingJing Sect.

The next day, the QingJing Sect Leader Wen HuaiYu came to visit LangFeng City.

The leaders of the two sects closed the door and negotiated for an entire day and night. Pei QianYue handed the full authority and responsibility of the Immortal Alliance’s reformation to Wen HuaiYu.

To not make this person work for free, he even gave Wen HuaiYu the title and position of Deputy Alliance Leader, which had the authority to act on behalf of the Alliance Leader. If Pei QianYue was to retire one day in the future, Wen HuaiYu would become the next Alliance Leader.

Regarding this arrangement, naturally, Wen HuaiYu accepted happily.

On the contrary, Feng Ci was the one who became a bit worried.

“Aren’t you afraid that Wen HaiYu will become the next Xuan YangZi?” Standing next to Pei QianYue on LinXian Terrace, Feng Ci said slowly as he watched the departing figure of Wen HuaiYu’s back.

Pei QianYue said: “With Master here, he doesn’t dare.”

When Grandmaster QianQiu made his appearance inside the Heavenly Spirit Ruins, he established his reputation within the cultivation world once again. With him as support, no one would dare to make things difficult for Pei QianYue at this time.

As a result, even if Wen HuaiYu felt any discontent towards this order, he wouldn’t dare to say anything.

“Do you know what this is called?” Feng Ci shot him a sideways glance: “This is called taking advantage of your circumstances to bully others.”

Pei QianYue said with a smile: “But it only works if Master is willing to provide me with the circumstances.”

Not bothering to reply, Feng Ci turned around and walked towards the hall. However, he was dragged back by Pei QianYue.

“What?”

Pei QianYue said: “The reformation of the Immortal Alliance is not something that can be completed overnight. Wen HuaiYu is someone very good at scheming and planning, best at dealing with these things. Master, there’s no need to worry.”

Feng Ci acknowledged with an “En.”

Pei QianYue then said: “I have already sent people over to WanFa Pavilion to assist YuChi Chu to extract the LingGui Essence. No doubt, there will be a result for that soon enough.”

Feng Ci asked: “What exactly do you want to say?”

“The affairs of the cultivation world have already reached a conclusion. Shouldn’t Master……” Pei QianYue paused briefly and asked quietly: “also give me an answer.”

Feng Ci fell silently.

How could he not know what kind of answer Pei QianYue wanted?

Now that everything has been settled, Feng Ci still remains the Son of Heaven, responsible for the task of staying within this world for the next 1000 years. Like what he had told the Heavenly Principles, the reason he was willing to stay in these painful shackles is because there are still things in this world that he’s unwilling to part with…… people that he’s unwilling to part with.

However, Feng Ci still couldn’t figure out even today, what exactly is this type of emotion he’s feeling.

Yesterday night, there was a fair-sized snowstorm that fell on LinXian Terrace. The winter plum flowers blossomed on their branches. Sparkling and shiny ice crystals hanging from them. Feng Ci looked at those winter plum flowers and recalled that back then, this was the place where Pei QianYue had figured out his identity.

“Xiao Hei.” Feng Ci asked quietly: “Back then, during the Immortal Alliance Rebellion, why were you so certain that I’d save you?”

Pei QianYue: “Because Master didn’t want to see me hurt.”

“But at that time, I definitely didn’t fall in love with you.” Feng Ci walked under the plum tree. Raising a hand to stroke the plum branch, he said softly: “You are the only familiar face I have in this world. If you are about to die in front of me, I will definitely do my best to save you.”

This time, and those instances previously, basically have no differences.

If that was the case, then how could he figure out what kind of feeling he had towards Pei QianYue?

How can he differentiate whether he felt love towards Pei QianYue, or if this was because of the indebted regret he owed the other.

Pei QianYue didn’t answer.

He walked over and embraced Feng Ci from the back: “Master is feeling afraid, right?”

“You’re afraid this kind of feeling is only momentary. You’re afraid if everything you did was only because of the regret you felt for me, one day, you’d regret today’s decision, right?”

Feng Ci squeezed his eyes closed.

Was he feeling afraid?

Perhaps.

A thousand years was not a small number. Mortals only live decades and still experience countless changes, let alone a thousand years. Feng Ci has seen too many relationships whittled away by the passage of time. If it were the same for him, what should he do then?

“Master, my heart continues to beat only because of you.” Back pressed firmly against Pei QianYue’s chest, Feng Ci heard the other’s deep and heavy voice: “If you’re worried that time would erode everything, then we can use time to prove that your current worries are unnecessary.”

“As for whether or not this is love…… I actually have a method to prove that.”

Feng Ci turned his head to look at him: “What?”

“Master had said previously, as long as the power of someone’s soul is strong enough, they can travel with you to the Sumeru World.” Pei QianYue said seriously: “Don’t know if that’s possible with my current cultivation.”

Feng Ci frowned: “What do you want to do?”

“I want to spend a lifetime as mortals with Master.” Pei QianYue said: “Seal away the memories and cultivation of our Divine Souls, forget our past sentiments, and restart afresh.”

There’d no longer be the 3000 years of entanglement, no longer the debt that they owed each other. Let’s see which direction they will head ultimately.

Feng Ci laughed: “You think I haven’t tried that?”

When traveling through the Sumeru Worlds in those 3000 years, he has also once sealed the memories of his soul, wanting to fully enjoy the life of a mortal for once.

At first, that life had indeed passed pretty well. However, in the end, he still died alone.

Feng Ci tried once and felt it was extremely pointless, so he never tried again.

However, hearing Pei QianYue say it like that, he really did feel somewhat convinced.

He really wanted to know, if there were no life debt, no obsession from 3000 years of waiting, would Pei QianYue still like him.

Pei QianYue asked softly next to Feng Ci’s ear: “How about it? Do you dare take a gamble with me?”

“What’s to be afraid of?” Feng Ci smiled and turned to look at the other’s handsome, close-up face. He said half-jokingly: “However, if you end up liking someone else in the Sumeru World, I’ll definitely teach you a harsh lesson when we get back.”

Pei QianYue nodded and agreed: “Okay.”

After he finished talking, he walked towards the direction of the Great Hall, half carrying and half lugging Feng Ci.

Feng Ci: “What are you doing?”

Pei QianYue said seriously: “My cultivation was greatly damaged. I’m afraid it might be hard to pass through the barrier of the Sumeru Worlds. Fortunately, Xiao Que has already gathered HeHuan Sect’s secret arts. Master will have to work hard the next few days.”

“Hold on……no wait. Who agreed to practice HeHuan Sect’s secret arts with you? This Venerable One is the renowned and respected Saint Sovereign QianQiu. You dare harvest cultivation from this Venerable One?! Feng XiaoHei, put me down—!”

With a creak, the big gates of LinXian Terrace’s Main Hall closed slowly, also covering up Feng Ci’s berating voice.

Three days later, QingJing Sect summoned the world, deciding to reorganize the Immortal Alliance, expand the authority of the Immortal Alliance, and unify the management of the cultivation world. Some people agreed with this decision, but there were also those who disagreed. The reformation advanced vigorously for many months, until half a year later when the dust finally settled.

At the same time, after countless months of searching and excavating, WanFa Pavilion finally dug up a large quantity of LingGui Essence from the depths of a spirit deposit. With this, it was only a matter of time before this substance officially replaced spirit stones to become the power source of Enchanted Machineries.

As for the two people in LangFeng City, they told the outside world that they had suffered heavy injuries during the battle with the puppet and needed to spend some time in secluded cultivation. During their secluded cultivation, everything within the sect was handed over to be managed by Xiao Que.

However, where they had truly gone off to… was only known to Xiao Que, who had been left behind on LinXian Terrace to hold the fort.

Three months after the reformation of the Immortal Alliance was completed.

Xiao Que raised his head from a mountain pile of documents and rubbed his eyes.

After the reformation of the Immortal Alliance, there was only more work than before, not less. Although most of the affairs were completed by the one in QingJing Sect, LangFeng City couldn’t remain completely uninvolved.

Xiao Que yawned. Then he heard the door of the hall open slowly.

A familiar figure appeared outside the door.

“City……City Master?!” Xiao Qye hastily got up and bowed on his knee: “Greetings, City Master!”

The flow of time was different in every world. It wasn’t strange for Pei QianYue to return so quickly. Three months of absence, Pei QianYue’s appearance did not change at all. His white hair was tied behind his head, both eyes covered by a black ribbon. When he walked, the gold trim embedded in his black robes swayed slightly.

Pei QianYue acknowledged him indifferently and walked to the front desk to sit down behind it.

Half-kneeling on the ground, Xiao Que glanced outside the door in confusion: “The Saint Sovereign, he…… hasn’t come back yet?”

Pei QianYue: “Not yet.”

His voice was deep and composed, without any discernible emotions.

Xiao Que was aghast.

After learning that these two had planned to go to the Sumeru World, he felt somewhat ill-at-ease. There were an innumerable amount of mortals in this world. Those two had also sealed their memories. Who they encounter, what happens to them— everything is possible.

And now, the City Master has returned alone. Could it be possible that……

Something unpleasant had happened?

Xiao Que was itching with curiosity, but he also didn’t dare to ask excessively. He only heard Pei QianYue say coolly: “You’re dismissed.”

“…… Yes.”

Xiao Que left with a heart full of curiosity. Pei QianYue leisurely poured himself a cup of tea.

Before he finished drinking the cup of tea, there was the sound of footsteps outside the door again.

And a familiar clear, cold voice.

“So vicious, Xiao Hei.” A white robed young man stepped into the Great Hall: “Running off first, leaving me alone over there?”

A hint of a smile finally appeared on Pei QianYue’s face.

Feng Ci walked over quickly and snatched away his unfinished cup of tea. Tilting his head, he drank it down with one gulp.

Pei QianYue asked him: “How long did Master stay?”

Feng Ci paused and shifted his gaze: “Three years.”

Time inside the world they had selected flowed extremely quickly. They only left for three months, but on the other side, they had experienced decades.

Feng Ci even stayed three years more than Pei QianYue.

Hearing these words, the smile on Pei QianYue’s lips deepened.

Tossing away the teacup in his hand, Feng Ci leaned forward and pressed Pei QianYue down from above: “Did you do something sneaky to your body?”

“No.” Pei QianYue said calmly: “However, my Divine Soul is Yin inclined. A mortal cannot tolerate such sinister energy, as such the body is weak with many ailments, unable to live for long.”

Feng Ci narrowed his eyes: “You didn’t tell me and you…… you didn’t wake me.”

They had fallen in love again in the Sumeru World, but unfortunately, Pei QianYue’s physical body was weak and got sick frequently, ultimately passing away early in life.

After the physical body inside the Sumeru World dies, Pei QianYue would recover the power of his Divine Soul, as well as all of his memories.

But he didn’t choose to wake Feng Ci up and instead, returned here in advance.

“Master wanted to know if his feelings would whittle away because of time. I also wanted to know.” Pei QianYue’s tone continued to remain calm and composed: “If I continued to stay there, I wouldn’t have been able to endure it.”

Feng Ci didn’t reply. Pei QianYue continued to say: “Good thing we managed to test it out, no?”

“…… How did those three years feel?”

Feng Ci turned his head and refused to look at him: “Didn’t feel much.”

“Lies.” Pei QianYue pulled Feng Ci into his arms and stroked the bangs on the side of his face: “That day when my soul left the body, my consciousness didn’t vanish yet. I saw Master crying for me, crying so hard my heart ached.”

Feng Ci: “I thought I was a mortal at that time.”

“So?” Pei QianYue asked him quietly: “How did you pass those three years?”

Choked up, Feng Ci squeezed his eyes shut: “Worse than death itself.”

They had indeed figured it out.

Everyday without Pei QianYue, he spent in an endless reminiscence. This pain and nostalgia didn’t diminish or change with time however, but on the contrary, refreshed and renewed endlessly.

Feng Ci endured for three years before he finally couldn’t take it anymore and decided to go join Pei QianYue.

Then when he opened his eyes again, he had recovered his memories and returned here.

Pei QianYue stroked Feng Ci’s back. He raised his head and was just about to say something when Feng Ci kissed him viciously.

That kiss started light then deepened until it finally degenerated into a venting kind of biting.

“You lunatic…… asshole……” Feng Ci bit him cruelly, tasting blood in his mouth: “Just taking advantage of my doting…… taking advantage of my love for you……”

Pei QianYue was stunned.

He pushed Feng Ci away slightly and raised the other’s chin, whispering: “Say it again.”

“Say what?” Feng Ci said with a temper: “You didn’t hear it enough in the Sumeru World?”

“That’s not the same.”

Feng Ci ignored him.

He lowered his head and continued to kiss Pei QianYue, but Pei QianYue didn’t hear what he wanted and refused to give in. Feng Ci didn’t have the patience to indulge him this time. After a few failed kisses, he started using his hands. The two people fell off the chair and knocked over the table in front of them. The documents, pen and ink fell all over the floor.

It was a complete mess inside the hall. Feng Ci pressed Pei QianYue down on the ice-cold floor of the Great Hall.

“Pei QianYue, you’re dead.” Feng Ci breathed somewhat unsteadily. His lips had unknowingly split open. His clothes were disheveled: “If you don’t compensate me properly this time, I’ll never let you rest.”

Pei QianYue’s hair also unraveled and loosened. Their black and white hair tangled together on the ground.

Grabbing the front of Feng Ci’s clothes, he maintained a smile: “Okay, I’ll compensate you.”
