Chapter 5 – Keeps Insulting (Flirting With) The Emperor Again And Again!

Shen Qingxian used to want to, but now…..

He probably still wanted to. After all, the fourth line on the jade scroll hadn’t faded, with that “Fourth, do not harbor the intent to kill Gu Jianshen” still clearly there.

However, even if he wanted to, Shen Qingxian wouldn’t hurt Gu Jianshen for the time being.

His lips curved up, and his smile was like a bright moon hanging in the sky with a light breeze. “I simply wish Your Majesty a long life.”

In fact, this was also a bit malicious. Although “a long life” was a good phrase in the mortal world, in the cultivation world… it was like saying to a mortal, “I hope that you will live to be sixty years old”——you didn’t have to wish for someone to live to sixty, okay?!

But Gu Jianshen didn’t care. He even responded happily, “I believe you.”

He was quite easily satisfied. The meaning in his words seemed to be that as long as Shen Qingxian didn’t have any killing intent right now, he was very happy.

Shen Qingxian couldn’t help glancing at him again.

It was said that the emperor of the Heart Domain was ruthless, indulgent, and unscrupulous when it came to achieving his goals. He was a merciless and cold-hearted person… At the moment though, he was pretending to be a beautiful crimson peach blossom very well. Whenever he smiled, the petals rained down and fell beautifully all over the ground.

Shen Qingxian found him very pleasing to the eyes. He stretched out his hand. “Please.”

Since Gu Jianshen “believed” him, then they would go into the Astral Sea first ba.

He didn’t know whether the emperor had long since made his preparations or if he really believed him, but Gu Jianshen stepped into the Astral Sea without hesitation.

The moment he stepped down, the surface of the azure sea seemed to be stained with a touch of red. The halo of light collided with the quiet blue, bringing out a different kind of beauty.

Gu Jianshen looked at Shen Qingxian: “Lord?”

Shen Qingxian returned to his senses. He said in a slow voice, “The hibiscus is inferior to the beauty overflowing by the water exterior.“

Gu Jianshen paused for a moment.

It was unfortunate that the people of the Heart Domain weren’t here, otherwise they would once again explode into fireworks in the sky.

Shen White Lotus kept insulting (flirting with) the emperor again and again!

Gu Jianshen was a man, and he was a man who had achieved supreme domination and overturned the structure of the Heart Domain, but Shen Qingxian kept comparing him to a woman repeatedly. How could they bear it? Even tearing him into pieces wouldn’t be enough!

After saying that, Shen Qingxian also regretted his words a little. He then added, “Sorry, I have overstepped.”

Gu Jianshen’s thin lips quirked up slightly, and he didn’t seem angry. “How could that be an overstep? It is the great fortune of Gu-mou to receive Your Lordship’s happiness.”

Shen Qingxian smiled, changed the topic, and said, “Let’s go ba. I’ll show Your Majesty around.”

The Astral Sea was a wonderful place. The “Sea” wasn’t actually a sea, and the “Astral” part was not actually made of stars.

The entire plain of light blue was made up of a precious mineral, one that was liquid. If someone with a low cultivation level stepped in it, they would be swallowed into it, and then integrated with the mineral.

Of course, this wasn’t a big deal for Shen Qingxian and Gu Jianshen.

The Astral Sea was uninhabitable, and there were no other spiritual beings there either. It was an empty place; it was indeed beautiful, but also seemed overly desolate.

The two of them didn’t communicate much when they walked on it.

They were probably both thinking, but as for what they were thinking, who knew?

In his head, Shen Qingxian went over the line of words on the jade scroll over and over again, and felt that they shouldn’t have to travel the entire Astral Sea.

The main point of the so-called “traveling together” was traveling with each other.

The word “travel” was very different from “travel everywhere.”

As long as they walked for a bit and looked around, that should be close enough.

After walking around a little, Shen Qingxian said, “The Astral Sea is cold and empty, why don’t we go to the Final Ashes to take a look?”

Gu Jianshen said, “Although it is cold and empty, traveling together with Your Lordship is quite fun. I really want to travel the entire Astral Sea.”

This polite remark sounded good, but Shen Qingxian didn’t take much note of it.

As soon as they left the Astral Sea, they were in the Final Ashes.

Like the Astral Sea, the deep black of the Final Ashes was also made of a kind of mineral.

These two kinds of minerals were mutually exclusive, and for thousands of years, they had been crowded together in the middle, never conceding to the other. Thinking about it carefully, it was interesting.

The Astral Sea looked clean, while the Final Ashes looked deep.

But they were both the same; they wanted to devour anything that stepped on them.

Shen Qingxian didn’t trust Gu Jianshen, but he also had nothing to worry about. If there really was an ambush waiting for him in the Final Ashes, it wasn’t a big problem either; it would be a very novel thing for someone to be able to shackle him.

Just as he stepped on the Final Ashes, his wrist was grasped.

Shen Qingxian was slightly stunned and turned his head to look at Gu Jianshen.

Gu Jianshen’s raised his index finger up to his lips, and said, “Lord, wait a moment.”

His voice fell, and rosy red wisps of light rose up, as if a dazzling red sun was being hung on a dark night sky. The dazzling light created a grand scene of auroral brilliance.

Shen Qingxian, on the other hand, was not confused by the light. He saw the gold inside the crimson there.

The sound of a dragon’s singing shook the sky, and the eyes of the golden dragon in the air were as deep as the sea. Its famed dragon claws were fierce and tough, and it carried itself in an imposing manner.

These celestial beasts were really frightening.

However, Shen Qingxian’s expression didn’t change at all, instead, his light eyes lit up.

He liked this color.

Bright colors… such as gold and bright red were his favorite.

Gu Jianshen said, “Although we could not travel to the ends of the Astral Sea, we can travel the entirety of the Final Ashes.”

He made a slight effort and jumped onto the golden dragon while carrying Shen Qingxian.

The arrogant and domineering golden dragon was very docile towards Gu Jianshen and even let out a gululu sound to fawn on him.

Gu Jianshen ignored it; he kept staring at Shen Qingxian the entire time.

Shen Qingxian touched the golden scales of the golden dragon.

Gu Jianshen asked him, “Do you like it?”

Shen Qingxian said, “It’s very beautiful.”

Gu Jianshen expressed, “It’s a pity that dragons can’t enter the Astral Sea.”

Shen Qingxian replied, “What a pity.”

Gu Jianshen added meaningfully, “Your Lordship can come to the Final Ashes as often as you wish.”

Shen Qingxian withdrew his hand and smiled noncommittally.

Gu Jianshen didn’t speak any more, instead raising his hand, and a jade table along with two cushions landed on the dragon’s back.

“Lord, please.”

Shen Qingxian sat down. “I have troubled Your Majesty.”

Gu Jianshen said, “It’s no problem.”

Bright red good wine and orange fruit lay on the jade table, and were particularly eye-catching.

Shen Qingxian didn’t stand on courtesy either; he picked up a fruit and carefully examined the brilliance of its surface.

Gu Jianshen said, “A Heart Domain specialty, the Chenghua fruit.”

In fact, this fruit didn’t taste very good; it was just beautiful and especially bright, like a small sun.

Obviously, it really pierced Shen Qingxian’s eyes, but he still looked at it, unable to move his eyes away at all.

Gu Jianshen’s mouth turned into a smile, but he didn’t say much.

The speed of the golden dragon was very fast and stable. Sitting on the dragon’s back was like sitting on flat ground, there were no jolts and bumps throughout the flight.

Gu Jianshen was talkative and described the Final Ashes’ special features in a few words. Shen Qingxian didn’t mind him much, his attention caught by those “little suns.”

This time, they really did travel all over the place, with the golden dragon flying a circle around the Final Ashes.

Only after they returned to their origin point again did Shen Qingxian realize that he had miscalculated the jade scroll’s understanding of “travel together.”

It seemed that “travel” was an abbreviation for “travel everywhere.”

They had traveled to both sides, but the task had still not been marked as completed.

Should he invite Gu Jianshen to take a trip to the Astral Sea again? And to travel the entire thing?

Shen Qingxian sort of couldn’t voice that.

But even if he couldn’t voice that request, he still had to. It wasn’t like he could make an appointment for next time, that would be too eccentric.

Shen Qingxian organized a speech in his mind before uttering, “Your Majesty’s sincerity makes this lowly one blush with shame. Why don’t we revisit the Astral Sea? This time, I…”

But before he could finish, he suddenly stopped.

They turned their heads together to look in the direction of the banquet.

Gu Jianshen said, “It seems that we have to take a trip back first.”

Shen Qingxian was also very helpless.

In the Taoist grand hall, the heavenly dao people and the Heart Domain disciples had started fighting!

Their reason?

The two sides had sobered up, and they couldn’t find their bosses!

The author has something to say:

Heavenly Dao & Heart Domain: When I woke up, Boss got  kidnapped! Stupid!!

Juurensha: Hahaha, their disciples are so cute. Anyway yeah, we’ll be doing a couple mass posts until we get to ch.20, and then we’ll go to biweekly chapters!
