Warlord

Chapter 75:

For zero, Leah was more than a wife.

She was a dream of zero, a dream of the beautiful Leah, and so long as she was there, it was as if she were still in that dream.

But when the sharp dagger made Leah spit out its bewitching red, the dream broke.

The world was no longer a blur of light and shadow, and it was so clear and cruel.

The immense grief in his heart drowned out all other senses. He howled towards the sky and faintly felt that something inside his body had collapsed at the same time.

The cries suddenly stopped.

Crouching down to the limit, Zero bounced up again just as his body was about to hit the ground.

With a leap of ten meters, he flew through the air in a parabola and landed in Saurun’s direction.

Sauron had set up a line of fire points and was moving at once, a dozen machine-guns firing at zero fire from different angles into the air.

This barrage of bullets should have torn everything apart.

He was in midair, his body moving in a small way, and half of the bullets missed him. A few barely missed him, and less than a tenth of them hit him.

He crossed his arms to protect his head and chest while his other body was exposed to the sinister fangs of the bullet.

The bullets that hit zero tore his body apart immediately, but these things soon discovered that his skin was strangely trembling. The kinetic energy of the bullet was greatly reduced due to the high frequency of vibrations, and after tearing his skin apart, it was also clamped by his muscles and then ejected out.

After landing, Zero squatted down to the ground once again.

Surrounding him and Saurun was a wave of white air, the impact of a landslide.

“Ding! Ding! Ding! Ding! Dong!”

Bullets constantly dropped from their bodies, making crisp sounds as they hit the ground.

A hint of fear appeared in Saurun’s eyes. After which, he activated both his elemental force field and his elemental equipment at the same time. His double defensive measures did not bring Saurun much of a sense of security.

Because of the zero in his eyes, he was more like a wild beast than a human.

A crazy beast!

Zero took a deep breath and let it out again.

The hot white smoke spurted from between his clenched teeth.

A scream rang out, as though a javelin had been shot.

Both hands stabbed straight into Saurun’s elemental energy field.

Sauron’s elemental stance was closer than Lough’s, and he had a high temperature barrier.

When Zero’s hands touched the barrier, the combat suit on his arm instantly flared up. However, he did not show any signs of stopping.

His ten fingers were like knives, stabbing into Saurun’s elemental energy field.

The fingernails on his ten fingers were lifted in the opposite direction, and his hands were drenched in blood.

He opened his mouth and howled. With another push, he actually used both of his arms to forcibly pierce through the force field.

Saurun’s mouth was agape. This was completely against the norm, causing him to not move an inch even though he had already condensed his elemental battle spear.

Stunned, he stabbed his own force field and tore it open with both hands.

It was not that there was no way to break through the invisible force field of an elemental user, but this definitely did not include ripping it apart with his bare hands.

Furthermore, Zero was not an ability user of the Elemental Domain. Only God knew how he managed to destroy the invisible elemental particles in the atmosphere.

The elemental energy field became unstable, a faint red glow indicating its appearance.

And now that the scarlet clouds had a hole ripped open, it took the opportunity to escape.

It was then that Sauron learned to pull the trigger.

The flamethrower pierced through the air and pointed straight at the zero heart.

But for some reason, the tip of the spear was already in Saurun’s hands.

What shocked him the most was that the moment he came into contact with the Flame Spear, it disintegrated on its own and vanished into thin air.

The remnant of the scarlet red flame on the palm of his hand proved that it had once existed.

While Sauron was still in shock, Zero passed him by.

When he passed by, what Saurun saw was not a person but an ancient berserk beast.

Every single pore on his body exuded a violent killing intent. It was a humanoid vicious beast.

In an instant, he arrived in front of Kabu. The Hunter stared blankly for a moment before instinctively stabbing his dagger towards him.

However, the next moment, Kabu found himself flying out. The strangest thing was that he was on his back!

When he landed at Sauron’s feet, the blond man arrived at a corpse whose head had been turned zero degrees.

After doing all this, the soldier who fired at him just now had time to adjust his trajectory.

But Sauron was right there, and they didn’t dare shoot.

Panting, he picked up Leigh.

Sauron turned, hesitating for the first time whether to strike again.

Zero gave him a light glance. He didn’t expect this extremely ordinary gaze to cause Saurun’s vision to go black. A sharp pain came from inside his head.

When he recovered, he heard the roar of a machine gun and the eerie speed of the moving zeros.

After waiting until Zero’s back disappeared into the rubble of the building, Saurun disarmed the elementalists.

His body seemed drained, and he sat down beside Kabu’s body, ignoring the image.

As he left, he sent his will into Saurun’s mind through his eyes.

The message was clear: I’ll kill you the next time I see you.

Saurun could not help but smile bitterly. This could be said to be a heavy loss.

Not only did the specimen he had lost again, it also cost him the life of an expert tracker.

Even worse, Zero had succeeded in burying a shadow of fear in his heart, and Saurun knew that if he couldn’t get rid of it.

The next time they saw each other, he might really be killed.

He stood up and decided to return to his family’s base before making any plans.

In the Parkland family, there were a few people who were much stronger than Saurun, including Kabu’s father. Saurun thought that the retired sniper expert of the fifth step would be happy to come back to avenge his son.

The black heavy locomotive flashed across the wilderness like a flash of lightning, heading in the direction of the city.

She tied Lia to her back, not sure if Hans’s blood was working on her, but Lia’s cut wounds were healing.

It was only after he had gotten a good grasp of the situation that Zero was able to retreat from his crazed state and let Sauron choose to leave.

There was still a chance!

Victor of Riseau should be able to do something for Leah.

And now, that was the only option left.

Lala was still lying on top of it. She hadn’t taken it with her when she left this morning. Instead, she had left it with the heavy locomotive.

Fortunately, Lala was not stupid enough to eat the heavy locomotive as a snack. Otherwise, the little fellow would probably be torn into pieces.

Now it looked curiously at Leah, who had her eyes closed.

Lala arched her with her fat body and was a little disappointed to see that Leah didn’t hug it as usual.

In front of the locomotive, the outline of the city of Angry Reef loomed.

Hold on!

Zero said to Lia in his heart.
