“You didn’t forget anything, right?”

Kaede said, looking at my bag.

“I’m fine. Besides, you did check it yesterday.”

“Yes, but …… you need to do a final check yourself.”

“I trust you more than I trust myself, Kaede.”

“Have a little more faith in yourself.”

Saying that, Kaede looked at me with a face that said,” Good Grief.”

I know Kaede told me so, but in reality, I trusted her a hundred times more than I trusted myself. It was not a lie.

“Well then,…., I guess we should get going.”

“Yes! Let’s go”

“I guess we’re going to have to say goodbye to this house for a while.

“It’s really only for a short time.”

With that I locked the front door and headed for the station where we were to meet.

Saying that, Chinatsu hugged Kaede vigorously. Kaede’s body was slightly tilted back, but she did not fall down, probably because she had a strong core. If anything, she seemed to be fine just by leaning back a little.

Takuto said so and grabbed Chinatsu by the neck.

Good girl. Takuto patted Chinatsu’s head. I really wish they would take their husband-wife banter somewhere else.

“Hey~ It’s attendance time~”

The homeroom teacher lined up the students, and of course we were no exception.

After the departure obligation, we finally boarded the bullet train.

Seating was in order of attendance number, with men and women separated, so it wasn’t that you would feel quite awkward with a girl next to you who didn’t talk at all.

I decided to close my eyes because I had nothing to do on the bullet train and was a little sleepy. I slowly closed my eyes and fell asleep, not fighting the sleepiness, thinking that I would still be on the bullet train if I woke up anyway.

My eyes opened when someone shook my body. But my brain was not fully awake yet.

Then I heard from the guy sitting next to me that we would be arriving at Kyoto soon. Then the announcement on the bullet train said that Kyoto was next.

When I got off the bullet train, everyone was saying “I am tired” or “It was a long ride,” but the actual time spent on the bullet train was less than 10 minutes.

On the first day of the school trip, many schools learn about the history and culture of the area. Our school was divided into classes, and as we traveled on the bus, we listened to the bus guide give us trivia about the area.

When we arrived at our destination, I got off the bus and finally took a good deep breath.

“My butt hurts after sitting for so long. ……”

I lightly grumbled about the long hours of travel, but it was refreshing to stretch and be somewhere so different from where we lived.

“So refreshing~”

I noticed that Kaede was also stretching out next to me. Even though we were in the same class, the girls and boys were having a blast separately, so we didn’t get a chance to talk much.

“I hope it will be a wonderful school trip!”

“Ah …… yeah.”

She giggled, and I think her face mesmerized not only me, but also the bus guide and the driver.

I think everyone was looking at Kaede at that moment.

“I’m so tired~!!”

One of the people in the same room said and plopped down on the tatami mats. After a few hours of listening to stories and touring buildings, we boarded the bus again and were now at the inn.

Everyone was swamped, feeling like they could finally take a break. Some of them were as sloppy as slime.

I was certainly tired, but I was looking forward to our free day tomorrow, so I was more excited than tired.

The rest of the night passed uneventfully.

The school trip entered its second day with free time for activities.
