My Second Life in Another World

I am currently at Sky Rose Garden, which is located on top of the Daehan Cinema complex in Chungmoro, this visually pleasing garden. The garden is on the 8th floor of the Cinema and has a beautiful view of the city, a quaint coffee shop, roses, and bright lights.

I am now sitting in front of a beautiful woman, Who is it you ask, It's Hae-in who is drinking coffee as she is looking away shyly.

The reason is, we came to watch a movie together.

'U-um, there is a movie I want to watch. S-So…' she was blushing while looking down at that time. She was way too cute and I agreed to watch the movie not even asking which movie it is and made a plan to come here today.

When we arrived here I saw it was a horror movie that was pretty famous. She looked nervous.

'I guess she isn't good with horror movies which is surprising.' I shook my head and held her hand.

She was surprised as she looked at me while blushing.

"I am not good with horror movies so can hold your hand," I said to her softly.

She nodded her head shyly. I just smiled and led her to the seat after we bought popcorn. We were still holding hands while sitting in our seats.

Then the movie started and we watched it while eating but whenever a horror scene came I can feel her grip on my hand tightening. If it was a normal man his hand would have been reduced to paste because of her strength.

But in the middle of the movie a jump scare came and all the women screamed. Hae-in was the same she hugged me from the side while screaming. But after some time she came to her senses her face blushed it reached her neck. She was about to move but I hugged her shoulder with my right hand.

"It's ok if you are scared then stay like this," I said as I was patted her back to calm down. She nodded while looking down she was embarrassed at the moment. And we stayed like that for the rest of the movie.

And that has led to the current situation. She is acting shyly now.

'It's almost time for the sunset' I thought as I stood up from my seat and said to Hae-in.

"Let's go, I heard the sunset view from here is beautiful."

She nodded and stood up then we went towards the platform to see the sunset together it was a beautiful view. The view of the sun setting with some clouds painting the city with its orange color and giving this city a new type of charm.

This sunset is the best I have seen in my years, no maybe it isn't about the sunset but…

I looked to my right and saw Hae-in seeing the sunset with a soft smile. Maybe feeling my gaze on her she looked at me and smiled brightly while her face was a bit rosy.

I can feel my heartbeat faster as unknown to me my face turned a little rosy as I smiled back at her.

We both heard a sound and looked back as we saw a woman with a camera looking at us completely stunned.

"A-AH, S-So-Sorry I-I d-didn't mean to two looked so good that I unconsciously took a photo." The woman said apologetically while bowing her head.

"It's ok are you a photographer here," I asked as there should be some hired by the management here.

She nodded as she sighed in relief.

"Can I look at the photo please?" I asked. She nodded and showed us the photo. It was a beautiful picture with me and Hae-in looking at each other and the setting sun in the background. Hae-in also looked at it and she was stunned at how good the photo turned out.

"Can I have the photo? How much do I pay for it?" I asked her.

"N-NO you don't have to." She said while shaking her head. I shook my head as I saw one of the couples paying the photographer 10,000 won for a photo. I took out my wallet and gave her 50,000 won for the photo.

"...Me too," Hae-in said while blushing and also gave the women 50,000 won.

She tried to refuse but….

"It's thanks to you that we were able to have a beautiful photo so thank you very much," I said to her sincerely and Hae-in also followed.

"Thank you."

So the woman finally stopped refusing and took the money. I then held Hae-in's hand and said.

"Let's go and have dinner. I'm hungry." She nodded shyly while walking behind me. I just shook my head and pulled her closer beside me as we went to eat our dinner.

"Sigh* when can I get a relationship like that." The photographer said as she looked at the photo on her camera. Then she was shocked as she looked at it carefully again. And rubbed her eyes and looked at the photo again.

"O-Oh M-My G-God whose photo did I just take if this gets out it will cause an uproar…" No, I can't upload this then she looked at the figure of the two.

"I'll wait till they make it official, from the looks of it. it shouldn't take a lot of time." She thought as she went back to her work with a happy expression.

Hae-In Pov

It was the best day of my life.

That is the only way I can describe the day I spent with him. The way he talks and shows concern about me is too calming for me that I think I won't be able to live without him. I still feel his warmth when he hugged me during the movie. After that, I wasn't able to focus on the movie. Then, we went to watch the sunset. I saw the orange hue of the sun made his red hair was shining more vibrantly than ever. Then he looked towards me and smiled. And I forgot about everything. I just felt that him being with me is all that matters.

'I'll tell him.' I made up my mind. Even though I am a bit uncertain about it. I'll tell him.

After dinner, we were currently walking back home together. After reaching my building he said.

"Ok, so I'll be going back."

"I-I ha-have S-something to say," I said gathering all my courage. My face was turning red as I looked him in the eyes.

"What is it?" he asked.

How do I tell him….

'I Want you to stay by my side forever I thought while looking down as my face was getting hotter by the second. It is in my heart, But I can't say it. I was clenching my fists.

Just as I was about to lift my head. I felt two strong arms embracing me. I was shocked but I don't hate it.

Then he lifted one of his hands and placed it on my head and rested my head on his chest. While his other hand was on my waist pulling me closer towards him. I was too surprised to say anything.

Then I heard it.

BA-DUMP* BA-DUMP* BA-DUMP*

I hear his heart beating violently.

'It's the same as what happens to me, does he….' His voice brought me out of my thoughts.

"You can hear it right?" he asked.

"….Yes," I said in a low voice.

"So you understand how I feel about you right."

"…..Yes," I said again as my heart started to beat faster. I want to tell him how I feel. I want to let him know. But…

The words just won't come out.

I was confused. why, why can't I say it to him why. I felt like crying.

Then I felt his hand caress my head softly as he said.

"It's ok if you can't say it now. It doesn't matter how long it takes….. I'll wait for you" I just buried my head deeper into his chest and said in a small voice.

"….Can I stay like this for a while?"

"Of course." He said while softly caressing my head with his hand. while hugging me tightly.

After 15 minutes we separated and he said while patting my head.

"Ok, I'll go back now." With that he turned around and went away, I wanted to stop him but wasn't able to say anything. I saw him walking until he disappeared.

Then I went back to my house. I changed my clothes and came towards the window and looked at the night sky. I heard a notification sound and looked at my phone it was Jin-ah.

The message was 'Unnie look at this.' It was a photo of Haru wearing a butler uniform for the sports day event. I can imagine her laughing cheerfully at this moment but then I thought of her smile disappearing.

"Seriously why am I such an idiot?" I asked myself.
