I went back home after saying my feelings to Hae-in. Then I reached my house and saw Jin-ah sitting on the sofa. And I felt a bit conflicted with this feeling.

"Oh, you came Haru." She said with a smile.

I nodded and sat down beside her asked.

"Why are you up so late?" I asked her while looking outside.

"Hmmm, what is troubling you?" she asked.

I was surprised inside but didn't show it on my face.

"Nothing what are you talking about?" I said while looking at her.

"Do you think this excuse will work on me I know you since childhood. Do you think you can lie to me?" she said narrowing her eyes.

I mean she is correct she is 2 years younger than me so our relationship is kind of like childhood friends rather than one between a brother and sister.

"No, it's nothing," I said as I patted her head.

"If it's something you can always tell me you know." She said while laying her head on my lap.

"OK," I said while patting her head.

Then after an hour, we went to sleep.

The next morning, I woke up after taking a shower and eating breakfast. The time was around 1 P.M and I saw the news talking about the 12th S-Rank from Korea which caused quite an uproar in Korea and other countries. Many were saying that it was a hoax and there were no S-ranks. Some countries were even speculating that Korea was doing secret experiments. The common populace was happy as they can be safer from now on.

The most shocking thing was that the Korean Hunters association has placed a lock on their information so not much is known about the last 2 S-ranks. A lot of attention was gathered on Korea both good and bad as well.

"Something is wrong with that small country in the east." Said the Frost monarch looking at the Beast monarch and Monarch of Transfiguration. Both of them nodded in agreement.

"What should we do now? I told you before that we should take action against that anomaly as fast as possible." The beast monarch said as he was annoyed.

"Well it's not that late we can still implement our plan, but some changes are necessary." Said the Monarch of Transfiguration. He is responsible for the information and even he wasn't able to get anything on that anomaly.

"OK, I will be leaving first." the frost monarch said as he stood up and left. After that, the other two left as well.

And the place became silent again.

During this time an ant managed to reach an island in japan alive.

After that, it started slaughtering the civilians and hunters. 400 civilians were killed and 108 hunters were dispatched. The ant was only killed because of an A-Rank that joined later on.

This situation has put the Korean hunter association into chaos as they and to speed up the negotiations for the Jeju island raid with the Japanese Hunter association.

The talks went through smoothly and they have concluded that 10 hunters including Ryuuji Goto the strongest hunter in japan will be participating in the raid.

The hunters will arrive in 2 weeks and the date for the raid has been selected to be 1 week after they arrive.

"Where are you going now?" I asked Jin-woo who was packing some artifacts he bought 2 days ago.

"I'll be back in a week. So take care of Jin-ah till then." He said while looking at me.

"Sure, but did something happen you have been acting weirdly since you came back the last time," I asked him even while knowing that it is because he has found a way to heal aunt.

He flinched a little then looked at me. "nothing happened."

"Sure, sure. Don't tell me." I shook my head and went back to my room.

He left after saying bye to both uncle and jin-ah.

After eating dinner we went to sleep.

In the next few days, I would train with Hae-in in the morning who wouldn't look at me straight. Well, that is to be expected.

I would occasionally clear some gates. We decided to make the guild after some time as all of us are busy with our things at the moment.

Today jin-woo came back and said that he wanted to talk to me.

So we are currently at the terrace of our building. He looked at me and said.

"I have a possible way of curing mother."

"What? Did you hit your head or something?" I said to him.

"Hey, I am telling the truth."

"As if, if there was way would she still be laying in the hospital," I said to him.

Even if I can buy a potion that will help her I didn't because I knew the Jin-woo is going to get it. So why waste my points.

"Here look at this." He said as he gave me a bottle of the potion.

"YOU BASTARD." He shouted as wanted to punch me, but I just dodged.

He was throwing more punches and none connect.

"Ok, OK stop," I said to him. He stopped and said.

"Yeah yeah."

"I'll be using it tonight and I wanted you to be there as we made a promise to her together." He said with sadness visible on his face.

"You aren't going to tell uncle about this?" I asked him.

"I won't," he said.

"Are you sure?" I asked with a sad voice.

I just smiled and said

"Just be honest with yourself, I know it hasn't been easy for our family to live in his absence but it wasn't easy for him as well. He came back from the dungeon after 10 years, he survived in there for whose sake do you think he did it for?"

"How did you know?" He asked me a bit surprised.

"Well, I won't be going to the hospital. So you two can talk things through." I just went back after saying this. I wanted to wait for aunt to pacify them but I just couldn't see them like this.

Jin-woo POV

I am now standing in front of my father.

"Aren't you going to say anything?" I asked him.

".." and he didn't say anything and just stood there while looking at me.

"How was it living in the dungeon?"

"It was hard I almost died of starvation." He said plainly.

"Do you…. hate me?" he asked in a low voice.

"Yes, sometimes…. " I can see him lower his head with pain clear in his eyes.

"I'm sorry.."

"When I first became a hunter, when I was at death's door when I barely survived just to see mom, Jin-ah, and Haru again….. you appeared in my mind. And I have always hated you whenever it happened." I said as I saw him lower his head more.

"Whenever I said this to Haru he would only say one thing 'Don't lie to yourself.' I always said that I am not lying. But I always knew in my heart. I have always missed you. Although I want to deny it. I always thought of you whenever I was in a difficult situation."

I saw him look up at me with a shocked expression.

"Did you miss me.....no us?" I asked him causing his eyes to widen.

"Not a day passed by where I didn't miss you all. You three were the only reason that I survived or I would've given up long ago." He said as tears rolled down his eyes.

He came near me and hugged me.

"I'm sorry that I wasn't there when you needed me and left you behind. I have always regretted leaving all of you behind." He continued

"I'm sorry I couldn't be a good father to you." While hugging me tightly as unknown to me I started crying as well.

After some time he stepped back and said.

"Are you sure that the medicine can cure your mother?" he asked me seriously.

I nodded. he didn't ask where I got it from.

"Ok then let's go. And call that brat as well." He said.

"He won't be coming with us. you should know he is very stubborn." I said.

He nodded and we went towards the hospital.

After 30 minutes we were now standing in my mother's hospital room.

I gave her the medicine and her complexion got better but she didn't wake up.
