Chu Qianli went with the teacher to pick out her uniform and other materials. She changed in the dressing room but the teacher was taken aback when she walked out.

Looking at Chu Qianli in pants, the teacher asked, in surprise, “How come you didn’t put a dress on?”

There were dresses for female students but Chu Qianli picked out the pants for the boys.

Chu Qianli looked down at the pants that she was wearing. Not knowing that there were two different styles, she was baffled. “Because I am wearing pants?”

And since she already had pants on, she would not be able to wear a dress also. Was she supposed to wear that on top?

The teacher, amused, wasn’t sure what to say to her. “Well, sure. Pants are fine if that’s what you want to wear.”

As Chu Qianli had not-so-pretty short hair, the teacher thought perhaps she preferred to wear pants instead.

Inside the classroom, Chu Qianli, standing on the podium in her pants and wearing her uneven short-hair, she looked very out of place and was very much a shocker for everyone else.

Almost everybody in the classroom were from a prominent or wealthy family. One’s images mattered a lot to them and they honestly had never seen a classmate like her before!

Ruan Ya, sitting in the front row, studied Chu Qianli carefully and asked the person next to her softly and tentatively, “Is that a boy or girl?”

Those around He Shichen looked over at him and asked, baffled, “Is that your brother or your sister? Bro-sister? Sis-brother?”

He Shichen, “… …”

He Shichen: Very well. The bizarre ways that she could murder someone were on the rise. He was about to die from embarrassment.

He Shichen grumbled that his parents didn’t do a good enough job with their own daughter. They should have fixed her hair first before sending her to school. She was nothing but a disgrace of the He family right now!

The class teacher said mildly, “This is the new transfer student who will be joining us. Let’s start with a self-introduction.”

Chu Qianli said in an open and friendly manner, “Hi everyone, my name is Chu Qianli.”

As soon as she finished saying that, there were whispering around the classroom. Others were obviously surprised. “Oh, her last name is not He. I thought she had been accepted back into the family.”

“The He must be going downhill.”

“Quiet. He Shichen is here……”

Their circle wasn’t that big and almost everyone had heard about what happened with the He’s. It was only natural that they wanted to watch the drama unfold.

Chu Qianli really didn’t look like an heir. She didn’t even dress properly. He Shichen looked much more like an heir than she did. Granted, if the two decided to go against each other, the well very well mark the ending of the He family.

He Shichen’s eyes dimmed a little. He had the intention to compete with Chu Qianli but he also couldn’t stand it when others badmouth the He family. He had a strong sense of family pride and was unhappy that Chu Qianli brought shame to the family.

Chu Qianli’s introduction was very short so the class teacher guided her a little patiently. “Is that all? You can also talk about your educational goal or the schools that you are interested in applying to in the future.”

Chu Qianli was taken aback a little, “Can I not study?”

All she wanted to do was to study her stars. The male lead would take care of the company. It seemed unnecessary for her to study.

Everybody has their own life path and values. She had already found what was the best for herself. It really would not be necessary for her to struggle in an area that she was not good in.

In short, she was not a smart one and could only pick up knowledge that was astrology-related.

The class teacher started to sweat. She said dryly. “Oh. Why don’t you want to study?”

Chu Qianli was very honest. “As long as I don’t study, nobody will notice that I am not smart.”

Class teacher, “?”

The class teacher said in a good temper, “But if you don’t study, how are you going to get a job in the future?”

Chu Qianli, “As long as I don’t get a job, no capitalists will be able to exploit me.” But she would be able to exploit the male lead.

Class teacher, “? ? ?”

The other students were enlightened. “That makes so much sense……”

Everybody was stunned by Chu Qianli’s perspective on things and had no idea whether she was smart or not.
