She wasn’t certain whether this was, indeed, the world within the book or just a parallel universe of the novel. After all, she possessed her old memories since she was born and had been taken away by her Grandpa when she was still a baby and had never lived a day with He Shichen or her parents.

Grandpa was He Shichen’s uncle and also a slightly famed scholar in fengshui. He was never wedded, had no children, never had contact with any of his relatives but he went pounding on the door for a change.

“You won’t be able to take care of this child. She was here for a reason.”

She would ask the same question from time to time but the answer had not changed for years. The opportunity, the conditions, and the individuals had yet to all come together.

Chu Qianli got up early the next day. She was enjoying her breakfast as she greeted He Shichen in a friendly manner. “Are you feeling better today, Big Brother?”

She truly had nothing against the male lead. Whether it was her start chart from the past or her current star chart, they both meshed well with He Shichen’s.

Besides, judging from his personality, he was not the kind who’d want to hurt an innocent person, which was why she greeted him proactively. At least they could look friendly on the outside.

He Shichen worried that he would have a nervous breakdown if Chu Qianli continued to be correct. He really didn’t want to listen any more of her predictions.

“Oh, that was taken care of long time ago. All she needed to do is to pick up her uniform and materials when she gets to school. And you don’t need to worry about a thing at school, Qianli. You are in the same class as your brother,” said He Zhenghe in a mellow way.

Chu Qianli nodded docilely. “Mmm. I’m not worried.”

He Shichen gulped reflexively. He was quite worried right now.

He had no idea whether the explosion of the glass was just a coincidence or that she had planned it all along.

The He’s family car dropped the two of them off at the front of the school.

He Shichen handed Chu Qianli over to the teacher and walked away quickly, not wanting to spend an extra second there. He just wanted to quickly get back to the crowded classroom and keep a distance from Chu Qianli. He worried that more bizarre accidents would happen when he was alone.
