C32 – Stubborn Man

Ji Guangming was left alone and felt uneasy as he touched his neck. He muttered, “That was too close. I almost got killed by the colonel just now.” He coughed lightly, trying to calm himself down. He then noticed that Hou was standing outside the door and also looking at Nan Xiao.

Although Nan Xiao was looking into the room, his gaze was fixed on the bathroom. He seemed overwhelmed with sadness, but Ji Guangming was too inexperienced to notice anything wrong. He asked out of curiosity, “Lieutenant, isn’t the colonel supposed to be in surgery? Why did he come back so soon?” Ji Guangming noticed the car parked outside the house and understood what had happened.

The colonel’s aide must have driven him back. Ji Guangming realized that he and Hou had walked back, and it had taken them about an hour. The second lieutenant had some matters to attend to, so it was about time for the colonel to return from surgery.

Ji Guangming didn’t answer and turned his gaze towards the bathroom. How could someone who had just undergone surgery be so full of energy? The colonel was indeed a monster!

Just as Ji Guangming sighed, a loud slap echoed from the bathroom, followed by Xu Yangyi’s angry voice, “You damn pervert! Who let you take off my skirt? Get out!” The old man had successfully provoked Xu Yangyi, who was trying his best to remain patient.

Ji Guangming was stunned as he stared at the bathroom door, then the corner of his mouth twitched. Did the colonel just get slapped?

Nevertheless, he had to admit that Xu Yangyi was incredibly assertive! Her intimidating presence was not inferior to the colonel’s.

Recalling Xu Yangyi’s terrifying expression and the inexplicable feeling of oppression, Ji Guangming couldn’t help but sigh. Suddenly, Xu Yangyi’s angry voice rang out again, “Are you trying to get yourself killed, Hee Jingyan?” There were no more sounds of slapping this time, perhaps because Hee Jingyan had intervened, or maybe Xu Yangyi was now “dead.” It was inconvenient for her to move her hands or other body parts.

After a while, Xu Yangyi let out a soft groan.

Ji Guangming listened, puzzled, what was going on?

When Ji Guangming was still perplexed, Hee Jingyan’s voice interrupted, “I’ve already warned you. You slap me, and I’ll fight back every time.” The message was clear.

Ji Guangming’s face darkened, and he felt embarrassed by Hee Jingyan’s words. “Colonel, we are still in public,” he reminded him.

Initially, Wu Tie had intended to leave, but suddenly, a loud sound echoed from the bathroom, indicating that something had fallen. A short while later, Hee Jingyan emerged in defeat and said, “Alright, I’ll be waiting for you outside,” although he still had a grin on his face.

Wrapped in a towel, Xu Yangyi kicked Hee Jingyan out and yelled, “If you enter again, I’ll kill you!” He slammed the door shut, but it was more of a warning than actual anger. It seemed he was annoyed with Hee Jingyan’s dishonesty.

“I won’t go back in. Don’t be mad, wifey!” Despite Hee Jingyan’s words, he did not appear remorseful. Instead, he touched his sore face and pretended to be pitiful. “Wifey, your slap really hurt me.”

“It’s not my problem. If you try anything else, I’ll actually hurt you,” Xu Yangyi threatened.

Xu Yangyi was in the bathroom and unaware of Hee Jingyan’s mischief. Nonetheless, he was irritated and disappointed that he had not seen through Hee Jingyan’s shamelessness. He had never encountered such a cunning man before.

Upon hearing Xu Yangyi’s warning, Hee Jingyan did not respond. Instead, he chuckled as though he was enjoying himself.

“My wife is really amusing!” Hee Jingyan remarked. Although he had the appearance of a fierce stallion, upon closer observation, he still had a shy expression that did not suit his tough exterior. As expected, he was still young. He thought to himself that training him would be an interesting venture.
