Side Story 3

Lisa put the sword in on Dana’s instruction. The soldiers tried to laugh at Lisa, saying,

“That’s right.”

But the next moment,

“Hah!”

“Hahaha!”

Lisa began beating the soldiers with a club.

“Oh, it’s not good for prenatal education.”

Dana took a step back, covered her face with a fan, gently shook it, and pretended not to see the scene. When Lily saw it, she tried to hold back a smirk.

After a while, both guards were lying on the ground, and Lisa came up to Dana and bowed her head politely.

“Your Grace, I knocked everyone out. I didn’t shed blood because I thought it wouldn’t be good for the baby.”

“Good work, Lisa.”

Lisa pushed the guards aside with her feet and led Dana to the beach.

“But I’m a little worried if there’s something personal going on over there.”

“I can’t do it if the atmosphere is not good, but I don’t have much time to come out before Leon…”

As she walked near the beach mumbling sadly, she heard a loud noise.

It was a spectacle when she went there.

Alcohol bottles and leftover food were lying around the sandy beach. On top of that, men who took off their tops were rolling around hugging a woman, some of whom were playing football and one of whom was naked.

“Well, well, well…!”

When Lisa tried to rush in angrily way, Dana secretly dissuaded her.

“Leave it alone for now.”

“But what the hell are they doing in someone else’s land?”

“The beach is an open space for everyone, but using it that way is problematic. I’ll take action later…”

As Dana muttered, vowing to do something later, Lisa tried to move forward again, wielding her sword.

“I’ll go and kick them all out.”

“No, it’s just the three of us now, so we’d better not get caught up for nothing.”

Lisa couldn’t deal with several people and protect them.

Leaving such a disappointment behind, she tried to turn around, but the group of men kicking the ball found Dana’s party.

“Who’s that?”

“What are the guards doing? I told them not to let anyone in.”

Another man talked soothingly to one grumpy man.

“Wait, there are three girls. I’m glad since we didn’t have enough women.”

The man who said so was shouting at Dana’s party, beckoning loudly.

“Hey! Come over here!”

The tone of his voice was commanding. Dana walked without looking back, soothing Lisa who was about to get excited again.

Then this time the man was excited.

“How dare you ignore Roston?”

That man must have been Viscount Roston. Dana turned around and suddenly a ball flew from there.

“Oh…”

In anger, Viscount Roston kicked the ball, and the flying ball hit the tree right next to Dana.

“Ah…”

Dana, who shrank in surprise, slumped on the spot.

“Your Grace!”

While Lily and Lisa were shouting in surprise, Viscount Roston himself was surprised. He seemed to think it flew farther than he thought.

“Oh, my. What? Why is that flying all the way there?”

He didn’t seem to have heard them shout correctly because he had no time in the midst of it.

“Lisa, I’m hurt…”

Lisa rushed to the castle without further reflection on Dana’s moan. It was to bring in people.

Lily helped Dana up and slowly got out of there. Dana barely walked out one step at a time, biting her lower lip tightly and enduring the pain.

Lily tried to remember one by one, looking at the face of the fleeing Viscount Roston.

And soon the men of the castle rushed out and took Dana inside in a hurry.

When Leon heard the news, he stopped what he was doing and came to the castle. The city of Brimde was getting hectic.

* * *

She thought maybe she could give birth here. The delivery date was close, so she even brought a doctor.

However, things turned urgent after the startled Dana collapsed.

The labor pains began, and there was no choice but to proceed with childbirth earlier than the scheduled date.

A doctor and a midwife went in at the same time to help Dana give birth.

The maids hurried in and out of the room but did not give a glance to Leon and his men.

Leon, who would normally have grabbed them and asked them one by one, now took a step back and watched nervously. Sometimes his mouth opened, but that’s all.

But suddenly it wasn’t quiet outside. Leon turned around and Lisa was coming back huffing.

“Damn it! They all ran away! Rotten bastards!”

“Lisa, what’s going on?”

Leon asked excited Lisa, who replied in an angry voice.

“I was going to chase that ball guy earlier, but they all ran away in the meantime!”

But in contrast to her voice, Leon’s voice dropped cold when he heard it.

“Ball guy? Say it straight, properly, don’t miss anything you’ve seen and heard, exactly.”

“Ah…”

Lisa frowned and revealed what she remembered.

Dana wanted to go for a walk on the beach, a group of people was playing there, and a ball suddenly flew in.

“They say it was Viscount Roston.”

“Viscount Roston…”

Leon’s face muttering his name was greeted with a fishy smile.

“There were a few other people besides him, but who was it…?”

“I remember their faces!”

Lily, carrying a pile of towels, shouted when she heard the conversation between the two. Leon looked at Lily, nodded once, and gestured as if to go.

“Anyway, later. For now, focus on the mother.”

“Yes, Your Grace.”

Lily answered immediately and quickly disappeared back into the room. The door closed again firmly.

When Daniel, an aide beside Leon, whispered something to him, Leon nodded once and called Ahil, the escort, in a low voice, with his eyes on the closed door.

“Catch Viscount Roston, you may take as many men as you need.”

“…How can I explain the reason?”

“If you catch them, I’ll tell them myself.”

“Yes, sir.”

After Ahil disappeared silently, Leon sighed calmly and pressed down his nervousness.

He didn’t hear such tearing screams anywhere, and it made him more fidgety in a way.

It was because he couldn’t guess what was going on inside.

How long has it been? The closed door finally opened and the baby’s cry leaked out.

Leon just listened to the sound quietly without being able to go in as if he was a little lost.

“…Daniel.”

“Yes, Your Grace, congratulations!”

“Congratulations, Your Grace!”

The servants who had been waiting with Leon around also celebrated with joy. But Leon still didn’t get in.

“Your Highness, you can come in now!”

Leon only stared anxiously at the crack of the open door, hardened like a stone, until Lily came out wiping her sweat. And as soon as Lily’s words fell, he plodded into the room.

At that time, Leon seemed to cry and laugh.

The room was in some order. Wendy, who was wiping Dana’s sweat by her side, tried to get up when she saw Leon.

“No, look after the Grand Duchess.”

At his words, Wendy lowered her head once and turned to Dana again.

Dana looked a little pale, but she looked at Leon with a faint smile as if she was relieved.

Leon came a little closer and made eye contact with her.

“…Are you all right?”

“You look foolish.”

Leon patted his face with his palm when Dana said with a smile.

“Me? Really?”

After finishing her work, Wendy quietly took a wet towel and stepped back. Only then did Leon get a little closer and stand next to Dana. He opened his mouth, stroking her head and hair carefully.

“You did a great job. I’m sorry I couldn’t be with you.”

“Aren’t you curious about our baby?”

“Ah.”

Leon looked at the baby held by the maid as if he had really forgotten.

The maid carefully held the baby in his arms. Leon accepted the baby with a puzzled expression.

The baby was born with Leon’s black hair and Dana’s blue eyes. And he could tell as soon as he saw it. His features were the same as his own, this was his son.
