The photos were saved in his light brain.

Jun Qingyu rested on Fu Yuanchuan as he calmed his breaths. His cheeks had turned slightly rosy, and he could not refrain from burrowing his face into Fu Yuanchuan’s arms after seeing those photos.

Fu Yuanchuan patted the little fish on the back. He ran his fingers over his light brain and opened his profile on the chat software, and sent all of those photos to his own light brain.

He selected one of those photos and uploaded it as his profile picture.

However, when it came time to confirm, he hesitated with his fingers hovered above his light brain, ultimately not tapping on it. After pondering over his decision, he cancelled the upload and chose the picture with their interlocked hands as his profile picture.

In the stillness of their surroundings, Jun Qingyu could detect the rhythmic thumping of Fu Yuanchuan’s steady heartbeat as he rested on him.

The passage of time was gradually shifting, making it challenging to tell the time from the pitch-black sky.

After sitting for an unknown period of time, Jun Qingyu asked softly, “Yuanchuan, are you tired?”

Fu Yuanchuan shook his head, “Are you?”

“Nope.” Jun Qingyu kind of liked the peaceful and quiet environment now, “Let’s watch the sunrise before we go back.”

“Ok.”

""

It was past twelve o’clock in the morning, and it was around three or four o’clock when the local planet dawned.

Fu Yuanchuan gathered the coat around the little fish, “Get some shut-eye if you’re sleepy, I’ll wake you up when the sun comes out.”

“I don’t want to sleep.” Jun Qingyu wasn’t the least bit tired, probably because of the better quality of sleep he had recently.

Still, sitting around here for a long time was rather boring. Jun Qingyu tilted his head and spoke, “Let me show you a magic trick.”

After vocalising that, Jun Qingyu stretched out both of his hands, with his palms facing up, then he turned them over, “Look, there’s nothing in my hands.”

Fu Yuanchuan earnestly became an audience of his magic performance, “Mhm.”

Jun Qingyu brought his hands together, took an apple out of his space at will, and then spread out his hands, “Look! I conjured an apple in my hands!”

“That’s incredible.” Fu Yuanchuan had a gentle expression, but his words were full of astonishment, “How did you do it? You’re amazing.”

Observing how cooperative Fu Yuanchuan was, the arc of Jun Qingyu’s eyes curved like a crescent moon irresistibly, and as a reward, he brought the apple to Fu Yuanchuan’s mouth, “Ah——”

Fu Yuanchuan took a bite of the apple in his hand, “It’s very sweet.”

The fruits from his space are free from dust and chemicals. Not to mention, they would not get dirty during transportation and there were no impurities. The fruits can be eaten without any cleaning.

Jun Qingyu took a small bite from where he had bitten.

The medium-sized apple was shared between the two of them and the remaining core was thrown into a small bin in his space.

Fu Yuanchuan had tissues with him, he took one out and wiped the corners of the little fish’s mouth, “It’s almost sunrise, do you want to take a picture?”

“Yes.”

“I’ll do it.”

Fu Yuanchuan switched on his light brain, watching the sunrise from his light brain was different from watching it with his own eyes.

He took a picture of the sunrise on the other side and did not interfere with the little fish enjoying the view of the sunset.

The moments of sunrise and sunset are two different kinds of beautiful natural landscapes.

Unlike sunset which was from light to dark, sunrise is like a warm halo of light.

Fu Yuanchuan stood behind Jun Qingyu, dutifully acting as a photographer.

Simply that the subject of the photograph was not the sunrise, but the person enjoying it.

They journeyed through several planets consecutively.

Unlike planets that were not open to the public and mainly attached importance to the landscape at the start, they encountered travellers on the several following planets, but not many, since it wasn’t the peak season.

Both Jun Qingyu and Fu Yuanchuan wore masks when they came out. The people on this street were more or less wearing the masks they purchase at the attractions, so they didn’t look too out of place when they walked into the crowd.

There was still leftover matcha ice cream that he had bought before and Jun Qingyu ate it as he walked along with Fu Yuanchuan.

The matcha had a very strong tea flavour, instead of a slightly bitter taste, not exactly the taste Jun Qingyu remembered.

This planet was dedicated to ancient architecture and most of the structures predated the time of Jun Qingyu’s transmigration and weren’t very realistic replicas. As a result, there was a lack of true immersion.

Jun Qingyu concentrated on eating and did not linger too much on parts of the landscape.

Seeing that, Fu Yuanchuan escorted the little fish across the corridor and said, “Let’s check out the snack street?”

The snack district differed from street stalls. This was a place with a strong tourist industry and strict sanitary control, and many specialities were found on this street.

“Ok.”

After responding, the ice cream in his hand was confiscated.

Fu Yuanchuan explained, “If you’re full from the ice cream, you won’t be able to eat other snacks.”

Jun Qingyu blinked and looked at the empty ice cream box.

Fu Yuanchuan gave a light cough, “Let’s go in first.”

The aroma from the snack street had already drifted beyond its premises.

Jun Qingyu was unfamiliar with the specialities of each planet and had no knowledge of what was available in the interstellar. As he peered from the entrance of the snack street, he was unable to decipher most of the written signages and their accompanying images.

Rather, it could be seen that there was a lot of food just by looking at the large and small bowls of food in the hands of others.

Walking through the streets made him tired. Jun Qingyu chose several kinds of snacks and brought them to the resting area, which was partitioned off. By pulling back the built-in privacy partition, one would instantly get a sense of having their own private room.

The interior space was spacious and it effectively isolated any external sounds.

Jun Qingyu tasted a bite of grilled meat, without knowing what kind of meat it was and its taste was a novelty. “The food industry seems to be more developed here.”

Fu Yuanchuan placed delicious snacks that he felt the little fish would like in Jun Qingyu’s hand, “This planet is famous for its ancient architecture, and only after it was classified as a tourist planet did people start looking into its local delicacies.”

This planet was chosen, not because of the scenery, but simply because of the many delicacies it had.

The little fish ate very little. Occasionally, when he encountered he relished, he would indulge in a few extra bites. If they ever discovered some delicacies on their travels that the little fish enjoyed, he would seek a way to prepare some on the Imperial Planet. Perhaps, set up a shop, allowing the fish to consume some whenever the desire struck.

Fruit and vegetable juice sold at the cuisine street was still blended, exactly what it used to be when they were controlled by the Federation.

Nowadays, the planet received a limited supply of fruits and vegetables, and they wouldn’t really extract juice for sale.

""

Jun Qingyu disliked the taste and drank a few sips of water right away. When he noticed Fu Yuanchuan was still, he offered him what he found palatable, “Try it, this is delicious.”

“Mm.” Fu Yuanchuan opened a box of desserts and gave it to him, saying, “There are a few food streets here, we’ll go somewhere else later.”

Jun Qingyu arched his eyes, “Others come here for the scenery, and only eat snacks when they’re tired from touring.”

The resting area nearby was empty. All the other tourists bought snacks and ate them as they walked, not staying in one place for long.

Fu Yuanchuan uttered calmly, “I’m different from them, I’m here to feed a fish.”

Jun Qingyu grinned from ear to ear, “Oh really? Just to feed a fish?”

“Your waist doesn’t hurt anymore?”

“Ahem.” Jun Qingyu dared not to tease him no more. In the last couple of days, he was unable to recover swiftly even from soaking in the spring.

The amount of snacks was considerable, but there weren’t many varieties to choose from. Just enough for two and none would be wasted.

After consuming the snacks, the partition was opened, allowing the noise and excitement from the bustling surroundings to enter.

They sat for some time before Fu Yuanchuan rose to his feet and said, “Come on, let’s have a look somewhere else.”

“Ok.”

On this trip, the time spent on each planet was short.

While seated on the spaceship, Fu Yuanchuan sent Shi Kaixin some of the little fish’s favourite snacks along its store.

Some matters were prepared in advance so that the stores on that street would be open by the time they returned.

With the dessert store, the foot traffic on that street will only be high, never low. The abandoned attraction will be reopened. Some businessmen will see the business opportunities there and successively invest in them. Those vacant stores will be coveted.

The store is owned by Jun Qingyu, and except for coveting it, they could do nothing.

Fu Yuanchuan planned to open some stores and sell the snacks that the little fish likes to eat, allowing the fish to consume some on the Imperial Planet whenever the desire struck.

Food produced by some planets cannot be transported to other planets. Given that, interplanetary shipping is not cheap, and fresh food is costly. Selling snacks without making a profit; nobody would engage in a loss-making business.

If there was a store on the Imperial Planet, there would be no need to go through these lengths.

As soon as the message was sent, Jun Qingyu came in from outside with a cup, “Yuanchuan, how many planets do we have left?”

“There’s Bluewater Planet left.” Fu Yuanchuan lifted his arm and wrapped it around the little fish’s waist.

Jun Qingyu knew his way around and found a place to sit down, “Is that the last planet?”

It was more relaxing to go out and play without any specific time or date constraints to do something. Once they were preoccupied, they wouldn’t even keep an eye on the time. They travelled through so many planets before they knew it.

“That’s right.” In fact, they had visited several novel planets. Fu Yuanchuan saved Bluewater Planet for last, simply because the little fish was very fond of this particular planet.

This time he promptly bid for the usage rights of Bluewater Planet for a few days to bring the little fish to play in the sea.

Mermaids should be raised at sea.

“Ooh…” Jun Qingyu hugged him and rubbed against him, saying in a muffled voice, “I’m sure we’ll be busy when we get back.”

Even though Fu Yuanchuan is travelling, he was still in contact with the Empire. All the information was synced to his email, ensuring minimal work backlog.

A simple settling of documents was sufficient.

Fu Yuanchuan comforted, “It will be fine.”

“When we return to the Imperial Planet, we can go for a walk. In fact, there are lots of good places on the planet. You can have Shi Kaixin accompany you at that time.”

“No, I don’t want to.” Jun Qingyu said softly, “If you don’t go, I won’t go anywhere.”

He wasn’t interested in going out, but in everything that presupposed being with Fu Yuanchuan.

Fu Yuanchuan patted the little fish on the back and coaxed, “Then we’ll stay on Bluewater Planet for a few more days, we’re in no hurry to get back.”

Jun Qingyu nodded, “Okay.”

It took almost a day to get from the previous planet to Bluewater Planet.

Jun Qingyu looked around after landing and realised that this deserted place was packed with robots. Immediately, he understood that no one else would come here.

“Are we going to play in the sea later?” Fu Yuanchuan brought down their luggage and answered, “This place has been surveyed throughout before we arrived, it’s fine for you to restore the appearance of a mermaid.”

He didn’t bring the little fish down the last time for safety reasons. This time around, Fu Yuanchuan naturally made complete preparations from the beginning when he chose this planet.

“Great.” Jun Qingyu sat on the luggage, “Marshal Tordis ‘walks’ his fish at the aquarium, while you brought me straight to the seaside.”

He even built an aquarium at home.

Fu Yuanchuan cancelled the automatic following function of the luggage and switched to manual pulling. He remarked without much thought, “He is afraid the little mermaid might swim away.”

The automatic following function would come to a halt when it detected a situation, which could be a bit jerky. Fu Yuanchuan was worried that the little fish might tumble down if he didn’t sit tight, so he simply switched to manual operation.

After adjusting the handle, Fu Yuanchuan raised his hand and nudged it against the little fish’s cheek. Then, he stated, “My little fish is very well-behaved and won’t swim away.”
