Fu Yuanchuan looked at the little fish in silence.

Jun Qingyu delivered a piece of popcorn to his mouth. When he felt Fu Yuanchuan’s gaze, he blinked cluelessly, and then fed a piece to him, “Would you like some?”

Fu Yuanchuan inclined his head and bit into that piece of popcorn, he chewed slowly and questioned, “Is the movie good?”

“It’s ok.” By comparison, that did not include the particularly delicious popcorn which attracted his attention.

“Aren’t you afraid?”

Jun Qingyu stopped eating his popcorn and a smile gradually formed on his face. He leaned forward, settled his jaw on the other’s shoulder and teased, “Isn’t it too late for you to be afraid?”

Fu Yuanchuan put his arms around his shoulders, lowered his eyes and wanted to speak, but Jun Qingyu beat him to it by kissing him first, then sat back as if nothing had happened.

Watching the movie with a bucket of popcorn in hand, Jun Qingyu acted casually and remarked, “I’ll be scared next time. My lower back hurts a little. I don’t dare to be afraid.”

“It is very uncomfortable?”

“I’m doing fine.” Jun Qingyu leaned on his shoulder and continued to feed him popcorn.

The movie had various scene transitions, with different ghost hauntings and Taoist practices; their fights seemed intense.

In addition to the popcorn, there were other desserts at hand, and Jun Qingyu concentrated on eating them, taking the ghost’s screams as background music.

The amount of popcorn in the bucket wasn’t much and it bottomed out when the movie was finished.

The screen had already started playing the end credits and there was a reminder that the next movie would automatically load in three seconds.

Jun Qingyu turned off the auto-load, got to his feet and stretched, “Let’s go out and check out the other entertainment facilities.”

The spaceship had many entertainment facilities since most who went on holidays to have fun chose to travel on spaceships. The ambience was laid-back and there were many facilities to spend their time.

Not to mention compared to those on land, the entertainment facilities were definitely much more than those on the battleships.

“Okay.”

Fu Yuanchuan took his unfinished snacks and led the little fish out by the hand.

Jun Qingyu looked at the several areas that had been divided up to make it easier to find them, and the entertainment facilities within the areas were marked on them. After looking around, there was nothing of interest to him.

Fu Yuanchuan recalled the little fish stating his waist was hurting earlier, “There is a massage room up front, should we go in and try it?”

“A massage chair, its effects should be good.”

Jun Qingyu’s eyes lit up at his words, “Let’s check it out.”

The size of the massage room was considerable, but there were only two massage chairs in such a large space. It was probably because few people used it, so it was useless to have more.

Jun Qingyu paid no attention to it and reclined on the massage chair.

The chair bore some resemblance to an enlarged, thickened version of a boss chair, capable of comfortably accommodating an entire person on it.

Jun Qingyu had used similar massage chairs before he transmigrated. Although it was the Interstellar Era, it looked no different from what it had been a long time ago; it was a bit of a novelty.

He was originally convinced its massaging effects were simply achieved by rotating rollers wrapped under the leather.

However, Jun Qingyu was shocked to see eight mechanical arms springing out from the left and right after he activated it.

“?!”

——Crack!

Fu Yuanchuan was standing in front of a cabinet, choosing an essential oil, when he heard the odd sound and turned to take a look behind, only to be met with mechanical arms scattered all over the place.

Jun Qingyu held half of each in his left and right hands, and wires were still connected to the joints of the arms.

Evidently, they were snapped off earlier.

“It was an accident.” Jun Qingyu gave a light cough. He pieced the arms back together again and while doing so, placed them on the table.

""

The arms, which had just been pieced together by an external force, fell apart starting from the middle and made a clanking sound when left on the table.

There was still another massage chair next to Jun Qingyu, so Fu Yuanchuan suggested, “You can use the other one.”

Conveniently starting up a robot, the robot trotted forth to take all the arms down; these arms could be reattached after simple maintenance.

It was a machine that imitates human labour, but in his subconscious mind, Jun Qingyu had linked this massage chair to the one before his transmigration. As a result of this, he made an involuntary move when those arms appeared.

Since the robot was still being repaired, Jun Qingyu got to his feet and walked over to Fu Yuanchuan’s side. He hugged his arm and rubbed against it as he spoke, “Don’t bother, let’s go and have a look somewhere else.”

Jun Qingyu had considered it done and seen a novelty. If he truly felt unwell, he would return to his space and soak in the spring.

Fu Yuanchuan took in his words, put the essential oil on the robot’s tray and set a fixed time to send it to the lounge.

Once that was done, Fu Yuanchuan thought briefly before he stated, “If you find these boring, we can go and check out the training room, there are mechas there.”

“Mechas?” Jun Qingyu was surprised. Previously, he had driven a mecha several times and was incapable of controlling ordinary mechas, “Do those mechas belong to the guards?”

“Your mecha was brought here too.” Fu Yuanchuan saw that he was unaware and took him up to the second floor.

The ground floor was completely different from the second floor, which could be seen from its height.

Jun Qingyu looked at the height of the ceiling above his head, it was such that the second floor had enough space to accommodate the entire size of the mechas in an upright position.

In the training room to the side, there was an ashen-grey mecha moving around.

Jun Qingyu felt that the combat ability of the mecha had been compressed, to reduce the damage dealt to walls or the tiles by it.

Apart from those in the driver’s compartment, that just leaves Shi Kaixin.

This could be counted as a holiday now, why is Shi Kaixin working so hard?

Jun Qingyu leaned back and asked, “Is this how you guys usually practice your mechas? You don’t rest even on holiday?”

Fu Yuanchuan steadily caught the little fish and explained, “We can’t stop our daily training.”

In addition to skills, mecha piloting also requires a sense of touch.

No one would dare to say that after a few years of not being in a mecha, it would still be the same as when they had been constantly training.

Moreover, practising in the long term would also develop muscle memory, which was undoubtedly beneficial to mecha piloting.

Fu Yuanchuan continued, “The safer it is, the more you can’t slack off on your training.”

Jun Qingyu nodded, “Actually, that’s good.”

As he spoke, the mecha inside stopped and faced their direction, as if discerning something.

The training room was completely soundproof, otherwise the sound of the mechas punching with their fists would have kept everyone on the ship awake.

The fact that Shi Kaixin had trained so hard that he only realised it now, made him jump off the mecha in a hurry and salute, “Your Majesties.”

“Does Your Majesty wish to train? I’ll take my leave now…”

Jun Qingyu said indifferently, “No, you go about your business.”

Out of the numerous training rooms available, they would only utilise one, leaving the rest vacant.

Jun Qingyu originally had little interest in mechas, but after watching Shi Kaixin train, he was somehow interested, “Let’s go to another training room.”

“Okay.”

Shi Kaixin was still thinking about whether to leave when the mecha behind him sounded an alarm.

The time for scheduled training wasn’t up yet, and there would be an alarm when training was stopped for too long.

The door to the training room was open, and in fear of disturbing His Majesties, Shi Kaixin rushed back to his mecha and only did the alarm stop.

Training mechas must be used in each training room.

The one that Jun Qingyu could drive hadn’t been delivered yet. For that reason, Fu Yuanchuan sat on a training mecha and extended his hand towards Jun Qingyu.

When the mecha was not activated, it was in a kneeling position and it was not particularly high up. It fell within a height that Jun Qingyu could easily jump up to, but he still held Fu Yuanchuan’s hand and allowed himself to be lifted up.

The single cockpit was a little cramped with two people sitting in it.

Jun Qingyu sat on his lap and asked, “Do you want me to return to the size of a little mermaid?”

Manoeuvring it in this manner would prove to be inconvenient.

“You don’t have to.” Fu Yuanchuan adjusted the seat backwards, and although it wasn’t a huge space, at the very least he wouldn’t be unable to stretch his legs.

“I’ll run through the basics, remember them. You can try them out when the mecha is sent up.”

“Ok.” Jun Qingyu relied on video tutorials to study mechas, but you can’t get a first-hand experience on the Internet.

“After your mental energy is linked, use the BCE key to establish control…”

Fu Yuanchuan’s voice was very soft, but he could hear it very clearly, and he would press the button while speaking, waiting for feedback before proceeding to the next step.

Jun Qingyu watched carefully, and then his hand was touched by Fu Yuanchuan’s warmth and lifted up following his strength, hovering over the console and tapping its buttons.

When they were done, the mecha’s movements stopped.

“This is a complete set of basic movements, have you learnt it?”

Jun Qingyu blinked. With his excellent memory, he could memorise the procedure after watching the video once.

But…

All of his attention was on Fu Yuanchuan.

Upon noticing the little fish’s silence, Fu Yuanchuan arched his eyebrows in response.

Jun Qingyu smiled sweetly and kissed him on the cheek, “Yuanchuan is the best.”

“Let’s try it one more time?”

“Okay!”

In addition to the basic operations, Fu Yuanchuan also demonstrated some other controls.

Jun Qingyu remembered everything and went down to head to his own mecha.

His mecha was similar to other mechas, except that it didn’t require mental binding.

In spite of the demonstration, it was still a difference when it came to the actual hands-on experience.

To be on the safe side, Jun Qingyu went through the process once in slow motion.

""

Fu Yuanchuan operated his mecha next to him, reaching out to help him adjust from time to time, more often protecting him lest the mecha toppled over and hurt his little fish.

It might be that Fu Yuanchuan’s teaching was more detailed, but Jun Qingyu felt that he was ready after a few repetitions. He turned around with his mecha and said, “Let’s go for a round.”

The mecha retracted its raised arm and consented, “Alright.”

In response, Jun Qingyu steered his mecha forward.

Shi Kaixin came out from training and distantly watched the two fight in the training room not far away.

They’re fighting?

It appeared to be an intense and merciless sparring match, but when he saw Jun Qingyu piloting the mecha and charging forward to attack…

From a professional’s point of view, his speed was actually very slow and his movements were not very fluid. It was not the same as when Jun Qingyu had hit someone with his own hands.

What did His Majesty do before? Coming from a lineage of marshals, he possessed the skill to dodge an attack of this speed within a mere second.

But the next moment, Jun Qingyu’s mecha precisely hit Fu Yuanchuan’s mecha.

Shi Kaixin: “???”

What kind of negative 2.5 times speed of dodging?

Jun Qingyu didn’t think he could land a hit, but even so, he still withheld his strength.

The mecha shared a common power with him and would amplify it. He was unsure of the upper limit of a mermaid’s power, so he performed with light movements and slower speed when controlling his mecha and engaging in combat with Fu Yuanchuan.

The same might not be true for someone else.

Jun Qingyu arched his eyes when he saw that this manoeuvre had hit Fu Yuanchuan, obviously because Fu Yuanchuan was throwing the fight.

Then, Jun Qingyu watched as Fu Yuanchuan’s mecha slowly took a few steps back, as if it had been knocked back. After coming to a halt, it was seemingly inadequate, prompting it to raise one of its mechanical hands and press it against its chest.

Ugh, a serious injury.

Jun Qingyu’s mecha took laborious steps forward and stood in front of Fu Yuanchuan’s mecha. Then, the door of the cockpit was opened and he jumped out.

He was steadily caught by the black mecha and sent into the cockpit of Fu Yuanchuan’s mecha.

Jun Qingyu smiled as he jumped into his arms, “Come on, let me see where it hurts.”
