Chapter 89 Part 2

The nobility was all like such, with many long-established nobles supporting them. Shi Kaixin didn’t understand where they got the courage to rely on their advanced age to flaunt their seniority.

Jun Qingyu walked out and made a turn to the kitchen to pour a cup of water. During the time Fu Yuanchuan lost his power, those nobles did an awful lot and spoke a bunch of unpleasant words in private; they weren’t dealt with due to the impending war and the lack of time.

He actually went as far as to brandish in his presence.

Jun Qingyu thought as he drank his iced water. In any case, he couldn’t leave the Empire at the moment. It would be better to discuss it with Fu Yuanchuan and let him deal with those nobles, lest to leave behind any seeds of future danger.

Before he could get his light brain, there was the sound of the door opening from outside.

Jun Qingyu was stunned. The sound of the door opening?

Who would come over at this time and open the door directly without knocking? Only he and Fu Yuanchuan had access to the lock in the house. Shi Kaixin had temporary access and was only allowed entry if his request was granted.

The more he thought about it, the more bizarre it seemed. But when he walked out, he saw Fu Yuanchuan standing at the entrance, removing his coat and hanging it up.

Jun Qingyu: “???”

In that instant, Jun Qingyu believed he was mistaken and had begun to experience hallucinations as a result of how much he was missing Fu Yuanchuan.

Fu Yuanchuan also saw the little fish sticking his head out of the kitchen, “Come here.”

Jun Qingyu blinked. It spoke. Shouldn’t it be an illusion?

He walked forward blankly, “How are you here?”

Fu Yuanchuan placed his arm around the little fish’s waist, bowed his head and kissed his lips lightly. When they separated, Fu Yuanchuan took the cup of water in his hand and took a sip.

“The situation there is stable and they won’t launch an attack in the short term. I happen to return to take care of something.”

Jun Qingyu pursed his lips and nipped Fu Yuanchuan when he hugged him. “You came back without telling me in advance.” He definitely would have gone out to receive him if he had known Fu Yuanchuan had returned.

“I wanted to say it in the morning.” Then again, before he could say it, Jun Qingyu ended the video one step ahead so he didn’t have time to say it.

Jun Qingyu: “……”

Jun Qingyu was momentarily dumbfounded. What did he do in the morning?

He assumed Fu Yuanchuan would not return any time soon. What exactly did he do?

Jun Qingyu turned and fled. He hurriedly said, “I suddenly remembered that I still have something to do…”

As a result, before he took two steps, Shi Kaixin was seen dragging Duke Disen out.

For a while, the air in the house was stagnant.

Duke Disen had somehow fainted, otherwise the current scenario would have been more awkward.

Shi Kaixin hurriedly stood at attention and saluted, “Your Majesty, Sir.”

With the loosening of his grip, Duke Disen’s arm fell to the ground with a thud, and it didn’t sound light when it hit the floor.

Fu Yuanchuan cast a look over, “Duke Disen?”

Shi Kaixin nodded, “Yes.”

As for why it became like this, Fu Yuanchuan did not question him and wouldn’t dare to say anything more.

Jun Qingyu gave a light cough and tried to explain, “I spoke a few words to him before the conversation became disagreeable, and then we exchanged some pointers.”

Fu Yuanchuan lightly stroked the little fish’s long hair, “Drag him out.”

“Yes, sir.”

Shi Kaixin had to send Duke Disen home and would not be back for a while.

Looking at Fu Yuanchuan, Jun Qingyu couldn’t help asking, “How did you get back so quickly?”

As he clearly recalled, Fu Yuanchuan was still in the battleship’s lounge when they spoke in the morning, but appeared before him in a blink of an eye; this baffled him.

Fu Yuanchuan sat on the sofa with the little fish in his arms and explained, “The speed of the mecha is faster than a battleship.”

Even so, generally speaking, the corps would use battleships. A mecha needed a place to recharge when its power source was consumed–a planet was doable, but it would be a road to ruin if there were no battleships to wage war in interstellar space.

Fu Yuanchuan returned with a small number of people, and using mechas was much more convenient and faster.

“How long will you stay this time?”

“About 2 days.” They would leave after finishing their business here, and if the issue was settled without a hitch, it wouldn’t even take a day.

The issue shouldn’t be trivial for Fu Yuanchuan to come back in person. Jun Qingyu asked, “Is it very troublesome?”

Fu Yuanchuan held the little fish’s hand and fiddled with it, “No.”

It was just that the matter was special and could not be done by others.

Jun Qingyu nodded. He smiled as he fell back into this embrace. He hugged and snuggled up to Fu Yuanchuan, “That’s good.”

Fu Yuanchuan carefully supported him to prevent the little fish from sitting unsteadily and falling, “Are you happy?”

“Um!”

“So shall we settle the accounts?”

“Okay!”

After the quick response, Jun Qingyu was taken aback, “Settle what accounts?”

Fu Yuanchuan said nothing and just looked down at him.

The arm that was around Jun Qingyu’s waist seemed to tighten a little, as if to keep him from making an escape.

After losing the opportunity to run, Jun Qingyu simply rested in his embrace, “You’re acting in a very rogue manner.”

Fu Yuanchuan patted him on the back and picked up the little fish when heard those words and, “There are more rogue behaviours out there.”

Back in the room, the pyjamas that Jun Qingyu had changed out of before were still on the bed and hadn’t been put away.

The material of the pyjamas wasn’t lacking, and with them piled on the bed, there would be no wrinkles even when they were unfolded.

Jun Qingyu sat on the bed and Fu Yuanchuan handed him his pyjamas over to him, “Put this on.”

He wanted to change into the pyjamas, but Fu Yuanchuan didn’t look away or leave.

Realising what his intention was, Jun Qingyu instantly flushed.

Following a shower, Fu Yuanchuan looked at the palm-sized fish curled up asleep on the pillow. He went up and curled his fingers around the tip of his tail.

The little fish murmured in a daze, fumbled to surround his hand and continued to sleep.

Perhaps due to his smaller size, the face on his shoulder was more obvious, but his details were not very clear.

Fu Yuanchuan placed the little mermaid into his pocket, then turned around and went to his office.

One night was sufficient to produce results for the information imported previously.

The very tired little fish slept soundly in his front pocket and Fu Yuanchuan pressed the virtual keyboard very lightly, so as not to disturb him.

Jun Qingyu woke up muddled-headed. His surrounding environment was wrong and he didn’t know where he was either. His last memory before he fell asleep stopped at the moment he was unable to ensure it anymore, and he turned into a little mermaid and escaped.

He felt Fu Yuanchuan by his side and he could see Fu Yuanchuan’s jaw through the pocket’s tiny opening when he looked up, so he turned over and continued to sleep with a peace of mind.

The movement in his pocket was rather obvious, Fu Yuanchuan’s fingertips gently stroked the little fish’s long hair as he coaxed him, “Go back to sleep.”

Jun Qingyu wrapped the tip of his tail around Fu Yuanchuan’s wrist, muttered a few words in a low voice and then there was no sound.

Fu Yuanchuan looked at the test result on the virtual screen which showed: 99.99%. He was silent for a long time. He kept a snapshot of the screen on his optical brain and deleted all the content about this test, including the test subject.

Many of the documents on the table were the experimental content that Jun Qingyu copied and recorded with his bare hands. Fu Yuanchuan looked through some of them. Although he was not a professional experimenter, he knew a lot from listening to others.

This data was very complete and the final result could be calculated based on this data.

The little fish was still sleeping and it had been toilsome for him to do this during this period of time at home. Fu Yuanchuan didn’t wake him up and pushed forward with the result himself.

His light brain vibrated twice. Shi Kaixin sent a message to inquire: [Your Majesty, Duke Disen was a little emotional after waking up, struggling to get down from the gate. Should I let him go?]

Fu Yuanchuan: [What arrangements did he make? Do as he says.]

Shi Kaixin: [His Majesty told me to break Duke Disen’s legs and suspend him up in front of his house gate. His legs have been broken, but he kept struggling. He wasn’t very respectful to His Majesty and said that Your Majesty will be surrounded by many people in the future.]

Fu Yuanchuan’s expression sharpened: [Make him disappear.]

Shi Kaixin: [Yes sir.]

Fu Yuanchuan put down his light brain and continued to compute the data.

The nobility of the Empire was a legacy of feudalism. The good thing was that, through the efforts of the Federation and Fu Chengyu, the power of the nobility was hollowed out, resulting in their vain status with no actual power.

Even so, what Fu Yuanchuan didn’t expect was that a noble without real power could still be so rowdy, and dared to run to the little fish and say these words in his presence.

It would be great to beat Duke Disen up in order to set an example for the others and to silence those restless nobles.

The test was relatively complicated. For the sake of accuracy, Fu Yuanchuan adopted the most tedious test method, and it took one day and one night to get the results.

Fu Yuanchuan returned this time just for the testing, and he wouldn’t stay home any long after the results came. The little fish in his pocket was still sleeping, and after much consideration, he didn’t wake him up and piloted the mecha to leave.

The subordinates who followed him back received the summon and followed closely.

Jun Qingyu woke up and noticed that he was still in Fu Yuanchuan’s pocket, just that it was a bit dark, and the small opening above was gone.

Was it nightfall outside?

Jun Qingyu tugged his pocket, “Yuanchuan?”

“You’ve woken up?” Hearing his voice, Fu Yuanchuan turned on the warm lights in the mecha control room, “Do you feel any discomfort anywhere?”

Jun Qingyu shook his head, and through the muted lights, he saw various buttons above with a glance, “Where is…this?”

“The control room.” Fu Yuanchuan reached out to hold the little fish out, “We are now about to leap into the third galaxy.”

Jun Qingyu: “???”

He was at home before he woke up. How did he wake up so far away from the Main Planet?

Jun Qingyu curled up in the palm of Fu Yuanchuan’s hand in bewilderment confused, “Are you taking me to the battlefield?”

“I have calculated the experimental data, and you don’t have to stay at home all the time, I will find someone to handle the affairs of the empire. Nothing bad will happen.”

Since Fu Yuanchuan dared to bring the little fish out, he was, needless to say, fully prepared.

“But I still don’t know how to pilot a mecha yet.”

“You can learn if you like, but it’s not necessary.” Fu Yuanchuan grabbed a small soft cushion to the side and placed it under the little fish, then placed them on the console.

The soft cushion was about the size of the little fish and was brought out of the house by Fu Yuanchuan.

When Fu Yuanchuan noticed that Jun Qingyu remained silent, he coaxed him gently, “If possible, I hope you can be less sensible.”

Jun Qingyu froze. Looking at each other, he could see the emotions in Fu Yuanchuan’s eyes. He thought: he would forever indulge in Fu Yuanchuan’s tenderness.

Jun Qingyu heaved a sigh. He was about to speak, but he was stunned when he saw Fu Yuanchuan’s action of opening a pack of cotton swabs.

“What are you going to do?”

“Applying medicine on you.”
